This topic is deidcated for request for the GoG website and forums.

So my first request is the possibility to mark a message or a whole topic as "SPAM"

Thanks in advance.
I'd like a private messaging feature. Oh, and I like my steaks cooked rare, too.
as Squid said, private messages would be da bomb. Also a user page so that you could see what games other people have and stuff.
Any sort of user/game profile options would be nice.
-A list of currently online members & moderators
-Pages dedicated to the introduction of the various moderators, so we know who they are
-Some kind of credit/currency that you could build up by referring people to the site, or earn in contests, etc...

Also agreed with the private messages/user profiles. Maybe you could have an option in the settings to make your games library and/or wishlist visible to the public.
I agree with having PM's, along with having an optional public page profile for other GOG users to see. I got one of my friends on here and will like to see what he is playing and what he has on his wish list, for example. If such individual features was optional (i.e. see what I have but not my wish list) would be welcomed more overall, I think, since some may like an individual feature and another would not.

They don't really have moderators per se at this point. It's all done internally by staff and for better or for worse they seem to mostly keep the same hours. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything moderated around here. Although they might just be subtle about it.

That's going to need to change eventually. Either by taking on mods from the community or hiring some that are online regularly when it's night in Poland. So far it's not much of an issue.

Personally I'd love to see the downloader be upgraded to allow you to download all the materials for a given game at once. Not my idea, but I'd love to see it happen.

Also I'd love to see a checksum listed which would make it easier to quickly verify if the game was downloaded correctly from a script.
What I REALLY want is the option / feature added that takes you back to the last response viewed on a thread. I hate having to either click on page 1 or 14 and then try and remember where I was up to....

Nobody searches the forum or reads the stickies anymore...
On every game's page it should be visible the game's version (and maybe what other tweaks GoG has applied to it). And every time some game gets updated by GoG (in rare cases where a game needs some additional bug/compatibility fixes), the user should be notified, in case he already downloaded the game for offline storage and doesn't know there's a newer version on GoG's servers.

Some games have many mods and community patches available, and it would be easy for us to see what version one game is and what tweaks have been applied to it (if any). For example, ToEE has caused some confusion among users who wanted to know how's the compatibility with unofficial patches made for that game.

Sounds like anarchy :|.
I'd like to see a wiki of some form added to the site for the community to use. GOG seems too small a team to really do a lot of community building - see the mess of the old wishlist, the amount of useful info in game forums that would deserve to be made "sticky" but isn't, etc.

It wouldn't need much moderation from the GOG team. It wouldn't even need much work beyond setting it up and some software maintenance. Just a blank slate for the community to fill. I have the feeling people here'd be able to self-organise, monitor, moderate and shape this. [It worked elsewhere not least wikipedia itself.]

This could contain everything from "games lists" [in a much much more useful manner than the GOG mixes], to game fixes, to information on mods, to walk-through's, to ... whatever ideas people develop, really.

You are missing an important search option: Search by ESRB Rating.
actually i just want the return of the "deselect all games checkbox" in the promo bundle pages

right now there is 18 games in the bundle offered, if someone want to buy only some of them he has to deselect up tp 17 checkbox

this feature is not vital, but it was present in the beta version, i don't see any valid reason to not include it in the new site
