darthspudius: Are you sure thats not 5 head shots = because I can? I know I can't resist plowing bullets into their faces in slow motion. It looks sooo damn awesome, even for a game at it's age. :D

keeveek: Well, it gets annoying when you fight 5 enemies at once and they just refuse to die :P I liked some effects in FEAR2 also - especially after shotgun to the face :P
One thing I will say about F.E.A.R. 2 is that is has a great graphics engine and design. Those shotgun blasts to the face are a thing of beauty!

What you talking about? Have you played the game? It has well known horror elements in the game, it is well known with horror fans and is generally considered an action and horror game.

What the hell? Serious Sam is a fantastic game and one of the pinnacles of shooters (until console newbies ruined them). And as for calling it 'casual'? LOL It's renowned as one of the hardest FPS games ever.

FEAR 3 has frequent spawning of dimwit enemies as you drag your slow character across very linear levels. Instead of being a FEAR, it's like a special edition of Serious Sam locked on Very Easy for the lazy crowd who can't go 5 seconds without unlocking some achievement.
It almost feels like that crappy finale of the original FEAR when no active clones remain and you instead have to run through dozens and dozens of floating ghosts, while shooting on full auto.

I liked all three, I only played a few missions of the expansions to the first game but I like the first one the best and as mentioned the AI is awesome, I recommend playing on Hard if you're used to FPS otherwise Normal is fine (altough slow-mo sure makes it easy).

I played the first one about a year ago in a friend's place, only around 1 hour or so, boring, how are you supposed to be afraid of a badly dressed girl?

Now the FPS aspect were excellent, especially the AI.
