You're welcome :) It's a pretty good game.
Congrats to Trid & Fenixp and thanks and +1, Red_Avatar!
+1, even though I thought both games were utter bollocks and I'm really struggling to decide which was the worse one. Probably the one that took longer.

Actually, I think FEAR 2 is fun. I've seen an LP of the third part and that looked oh so terrible, but while the second part doesn't live up to the original, it's a very decent, fast-paced shooter. Just what I need after Path of Exile and Supreme Commander.

I think the main problem I had with both games was that they try to tie up the story whilst introducing further untied ends to it. In a way, I believe the original F.E.A.R. was good because things were inadequately explained - it gave a sensation of helplessness which added to the general mindfuckery, whereas in the sequels the threat has been rationalized so you're left with a pair fairly regular first-person shooters with ill-fitting titles. Oh, and some of the worst endings I have ever seen in a game, like the developers suddenly decided they should shoehorn some Funky Forest extract into the series.

EDIT: Mind you, I have little recollections of the gameplay, so it might have been alright. I kept on getting distracted by the plot.
