Stargate Universe premièred last Friday, and it's worth a watch....
Hulu won't show it outside of Continental United States
iTunes are charging £1.89 for a TWO-MINUTE trailer!!!
SkyTV are showing it sometime this week, though (In the UK)
Not quite sure all the "jumping" around in time was actually needed (flashbacks), though...camerawork tried a lot to be like Firefly. Tried.
Oh well, only 5 days to episode 3.

Hahaha, you have to pay for a trailer?!

michaelleung: Saturday Night Live has gotten a lot better this season.

I saw some of this week's episode and it was enjoyable.

The MTV parody was... interesting.
My favourites:
Alias
Battlestar Galactica
Lost
Dark Angel
Quantum Leap
24
Veronica Mars
Life on Mars (1st season...I disagree with the ending of season 2 on principle)
Futurama (much better than that other cartoon show...what's it called?!)
Coupling (UK)
Peep Show
Black Books
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (proud owner of Slayer Collection)
Angel
Firefly
The Apprentice (prefer the US version)
Currently watching:
Dollhouse - not as good as other Whedon fare, but the concept and interesting issues keep me watching. It isn't a show to be entertained by (bar the odd exception) which is why it's doing badly.
Dexter - deliciously dark humour
Fringe - not a great show by any means, but you can count on it for cliffhangers and wtf?! moments like Abrams' other show, Alias.
Bones - crap, but I watch it for Boreanaz doing something different from Angel
Supernatural - crap, but I watch it for Ackles who I liked as an actor in Dark Angel
Smallville - crap. Not actually sure why I watch it...

That's pretty insane.
Seinfeld
and occasionally The Office.
weeds, great series, funny as hell.
At the moment:
Weeds
Breaking Bad (Seriously, has anyone seen this? It's the MOST FUCKED UP series I've seen in years, easily more nuts than Sopranos and Weeds put together and bred to create an offspring...)
Bleach
Californication is awesome, because it's DAVID DUCHOVNY!!!!!
(I'd put a blink tag there, but I can't.)
I tried watching the first disc of True Blood last night. I am pretty sure that I am not part of this show's target audience.

Yeah, I don't know why people love it so much. So... it's like a kinkier Twilight?

I haven't seen / read Twilight, but yes, that sounds about right. Disc 1 only has two episodes, but the show strikes me as a sluggish character drama punctuated by lurid (and rather tiresome) sex scenes. Both episodes ended rather abruptly with a harsh cliffhanger, which seemed rather incongruous with the more meandering pace of the events that led up to them.
Also, too many redneck accents.

I watched 4 episodes of "flash forward". Not too bad so far, I hope they will keep it short (1 season) but I doubt it.
The Simpsons, my favourite of all (from season 1 to 10, the other seasons are plain crap imo)
The X-Files
Millennium
Futurama
ER
Lost
Firefly
Buffy/Angel
Malcolm in the Middle
