michaelleung: Oooh, Primeval! Loved that show! It ended its run a while ago on TVB (where all the English shows go, pretty much). Heard they're not making a new season, which blows. And holy fuck, people still show ALF? I loved that.
Criminal Minds and Heroes are pretty good. But Heroes is falling apart plot-wise now. I mean, Claire will be a lesbian in the new season.

We're on season 2 of Primeval. I hear there was a third at least which I hope will make it over here -- may have to try ordering them from the UK or US.
ALF actually just had season 1 released on DVD over here too. One of my favourites from when I was a child so it's kind of funny to now be watching it with my children.
And I forgot about Hereos, only seen the first 2 seasons though as 3 hasn't had a local release yet.
Firefly, Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls
Haven't heard of the last 2, and I think we only ever got the movie for the first one, which kind of sucked as it made it impossible to really enjoy.
And The Mentalist, what's the basic deal with that one?

Primeval season 3 is the last one. The show didn't end well, in my opinion.
We're just started on season 3 of Heroes in Hong Kong, and it's really terrible. Yet, I can't stop watching it.
The Mentalist is awesome. I'm watching it on TVB (surprise, surprise) and in fact, it was on last night. It's basically this genius guy who is really good at psychology and "reading minds", so much so he pretended to be a psychic. The basic plot is OK, but the episodes are amazing.

I just remembered something: Veronica Mars <3
I tend to watch quite a bit of TV. I'll just list the ones that I think are truely exceptional series that are either still running or are over but are great anyway.
Lost
Dexter
Sons of Anarchy
Deadwood
House M.D
Battlestar Galactica
Mythbusters
Bear Grylls Born Survivor
I'm sure there are more that I can't remember but all of these I have enjoyed greatly.
Star Trek classic
DS9
Malcolm in the middle
Kaamelott (french show)
Red Dwarf
Dora
... and lots of BBC documentaries.
I don't even have a TV... wait I shouldn't be posting in this thread, should I?
I rarely watch tv, but I do get a laugh out of Bing Bang Theory. I do like to watch nature/history/science shows sometimes as well. That's about the only thing I can think of that I pay any attention to when the tube's on. Being a good Canadian boy, I do watch hockey games through the winter though.
If tv series on DVD/Blu-ray count, then I'll add some HBO stuff like Band of Brothers, True Blood (the wife got me watching that one and I quite enjoy it), and Rome. A friend loaned us her DVDs of Penn & Teller's Bullshit, which I also enjoyed.

They count =) I watch most of my TV shows as DVD rentals. I think I saw the first 3 episodes of Rome. Would have watched more, but the rental place got the series confused with another one and so ended up with 3 episodes of that and 4 of this other show starting at episode 4 =S The other show was crap though and thus, I no longer recall it's English title.
Hmm...
Dr Who
Firefly
Dr Who
Star Trek (All of them)
Dr Who
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Dr Who
Batman The Animated Series
Dr Who
Batman
Dr Who
The Green Hornet
Dr Who
Pinky & The Brain
Dr Who
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Dr Who
Bottom
Dr Who
South Park
Dr Who
Transformers (Original and Cybertron but nothing between)
Dr Who
Space: Above & Beyond
Dr Who
NEW Dr Who
Dr Who
Torchwood (well the episodes where they stop fucking long enough to tell a story, series 2 onward is good)
Dr Who
Dr Who
Dr Who
Oh and Dr Who
Red Dwarf
X-Files
Babylon 5
Nature, history and science documentaries.
I don't really watch much tv.
I'm surprised that nobody mentioned The Wire..
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Doctor Who.
Shouldn't that be Doctor Whom?
Bottom
The Young Ones
Father Ted
The IT Crowd (UK Version)
My favorites include...
Family Guy
Futurama
South Park
American Dad
Robot Chicken
I think that's about it for animated. Then there's...
Man VS Wild
Survival Man
Deadliest Warrior
Power Block (Trucks , XTreme 4x4 , and MuscleCar)
Monster Quest
Two and a half Men
Also, just about any stand up comics on Comedy Central. (Just something to listen to when I don't feel like music) Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, and Jeff Dunham are my favorites there.
Then back in the day when I had Satellite TV available to me, pretty much anything and everything on Tech TV, now known as G4TV of course.
