RayRay13000: They seem like interesting games, I'll try them out one day when I get the chance and find them for a good price.

What do people think of Fatal Frame 4 (or Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen) of the Wii?
The price for the games are a little steep, though in my opinion they are worth it. They have a certain character that a lot of games don't have these days.
It's too bad Nintendo won't release the newer ones. The last one we're gonna get on PSN will be 3, and then... what?
Thanks for the link. This game looks fantastic. Bringing back survival horror the way it should be! Forbidden Siren meets Fatal Frame... if a game couldn't get any more unnerving then that!

If you look in the right place, you can find the first three for 20$ each. Fatal Frame 4 is neat, as it incorporates an "I don't know if I'm alive or dead" feeling to it, but it does have some frame rate issues. Plus you have to import it and use a fan-made translation patch through Riivolution and HBC. I got my copy for $60, but I usually can only find it for 70 or more.

grviper: Buy a "license" on PSN, play on PCSX2. The official PS2 emulation on PS3 is surprisingly glitchy.
I agree PCSX2 is awesome

If we get it at all, they're still sorting out #2.
Some PS2 classics announced and rated for PSN take ages to arrive, like Haunting Ground and Digital Devil Saga.

Thats a great idea but I could never get that program running so it's actually playable.

When was the last time you tried it, and what's in your current system (CPU, GPU and OS)?

For starters go with graphics plugin setting DirectX11 (Software) in native rendering resolution, and no extra speedhacks. After that works, start fiddling if it's too slow or too ugly.

Since you have a quad core go to the speed hacks settings and enable MTVU. Which lets you use a Third core and provides a very nice speed up.
