I'm interested, but I won't be available for the live draft. Can I set rankings for players and just let the computer choose when my turn comes up? I know this is possible on ESPN, but I have not played on Yahoo.
Steeler Nation

@thme, yahoo does allow that.

I'll most likely need to autodraft as well.

Thank you.
Arctic Matadors are in. I have no idea why I took that as my name. :)

Even if you do nothing and don't rank any players, if you don't show for the draft it will autodraft off the yahoo default list, you can make changes to default under pre rank players, just don't forget to SAVE or it goes back to default

Damn these typos... Stupid iPad won't allow me to edit my post... Sigh

Basically, I'm stuck working 6 pm-6 am from the Thursday before Labor Day until the Tuesday night after Labor Day for any day we are actually working (2nd shift guy is on vacation, getting hitched).

My guess is I would have at least that Sunday and Monday off for the holiday (possibly Saturday), so Sunday evening or the originally scheduled Labor Day night at 8 pm would work well for me to live draft. (8 pm is just early enough to finish before I need to leave for work).

Another thought besides scoring...
My other league just did this. Drew the draft order ahead of time, so people would know where they are drafting and can prepare accordingly. We'd have to trust the OP to be fair with the random draw, but heck we should be able to trust a Goglodyte.
Only 4 teams so far. We need more!

Not sure if this is an option on Yahoo... (but it probably is) There are two "default" settings though, draft in the order of sign up (I never do this one, as it "awards" the commissioner pick #1) and random which it will "draw" right before the draft.
My other league is Yahoo and we did it, if I had to, I could ask the Commish for the details how to get it done.
Wouldn't we need all the teams filled up before we can do draft ordering?

Of course, just throwing it out there early.
Not in because I'm WAAAAAAY too stupid to play fantasy football, but I worship the sport and the season so as a thanks to the OP and everyone entering I'll throw this little blip out from The Onion for some pre-season laughs. XD

Hope there are no Cleveland fans here. :P

Dude, that just means you're the target demographic.

Exactly! XD
Seriously it can be a lot of fun but every once in a while I'll be sitting back watching a game with a fantasy player and while I'm just chillin' enjoying the contest, the poor guy next to me is shaking, pacing, cursing, and pulling his hair out because of what his fantasy players are doing. Seems like a little too much aggravation.
