Last movie? The Avengers. It was pretty awesome.

Never was really into the comics that built the characters, but I do like the shortened and robust versions in the movies.

I wonder if they could make a mini-series or something to build up more of the lore of each of the characters, kinda like the comics..?
Last movie i watched was a Japanese film called.. i can't remember the name, but i think it called "Missing"? but not Missing 44.

Basically a young lady was kidnapped by lunatic chicken soup cooker, who his wife left him alone with his mother. The lady was tortured and treated like a real dog. Eventually, the lady was killed by meat grinder into pieces and the lunatic and pervert man fed his chickens on farm with that poor lady flesh. Her sister who look for her also fell into the perverted man trap but she survived in the end. Not a good movie, just like most of Dario Argento movie. If you love to watch feeble woman being tortured slowly to her death, this is your kind of movie.

I like your style, bro.

I watched the first two Death Wish films last night. Some people may not appreciate the "pro-NRA" overtones or something to that extent; I just enjoyed seeing a somewhat average-joe willing to stand up to crime, and not afraid to use a handgun (although shooting people in the back was wrong, imo, as was what felt like kinda like exploitation of women; I mean, yayboobs, but not in that way). Imagine if horror films had characters like that; they'd only last half as long.

Anyway, decent films if you don't mind the propaganda overtones...
Saw the Avengers last weekend. It was allright, not really my genre I guess. The plot was a bit of a cliche and there was too much focus on action, though I did appreciate Starks' badassery.

Thanks for the giveaway btw.
I already own it so don't add me but I've added rep & incase anybody is curious...

Last film seen at the cinema: Titanic in 3D.... the 3D was utter crap and definitely just a gimmick (first time I've seen a 3D film.) but I did enjoy seeing the film on the big screen for the 1st time.

Last film I watched at home: Detective Dee & The Mystery of the Phantom Flame (Bluray.) Owned it for ages but it's the first time I've gotten round to watching it. Stunning historical Chinese mystery thriller with a good dose of myth & magic thrown in. Kept me interested until the end.
Yesterday I tried watching the first Sherlock Holmes movie (a Game of Shadows) - I got bored in the first 10 minutes.:-/

Jennywenny: 30 minutes or less.
It was a mediocre movie. Wasn't too funny, but at least it killed some time.
and you had the lucky number :P
