That's because if you hate MMOs yet do like mods, I'm fairly sure something you really should keep on your radar eluded you: That something is Neverwinter. Aside from being a really good action RPG, it allows for creation of user quests and campaigns, and those that I've played were pretty damn good, most of them single-player-orientated. And on top of that, Cryptic studios are really doing their best to support the modding capabilities - they do mod contests, mod highlights etc. And best of all, all of this is free, all you do need to do is to finish the tutorial section of the base game, so there's no good reason not to try it out.
The reason why I'm creating this topic is more or less to spread the word - I do believe that any initiative that gives players the power to enhance their experience should be embraced, and it's something that's not all that common in MMOs.
