Well as a last resort you can just kill everyone to beat that quest. How did it bug?

No idea. I did all of the objectives apart from convincing Regis. I found the note in Karls footlocker and it removed the objective waypoint but didn't trigger any new dialogues.

cw8: Well, I'm at the end part of the final quest now. Next playthrough, fully Unarmed like my playthrough for FO2, punching everything to death. Hope the Deathclaws are not too hard without the Super Sledge.
It can be done. Get the Ballistic Fist as soon as it's available from the Gun Runners or the Brotherhood. Then seek out the unique displacer fist called Pushy which you can find in the Ruby Hill Mine. Pushy can one shot everything except Deathclaws.

Deathclaws in New Vegas = the sexy girlfriend most guys always dreamed of. Sleek, sexy, and deadly, holding their own against the lesser scrubs.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Yes, it's a bit odd comparing deathclaws to women... but then again, is it really? ;)

*********** SPOILERS ****************

Completed the game helping the NCR. I like the final battle very climatic(though the main questline is short) and all those who I've helped came to help me like BoS and the very marvellous Boomers with their B-29 bomber. lol.
Ending was great, I like endings that tell you everything about the people and factions you help, like the endings of old RPG games. Nice to see it bring that back. (Yeah I know DAO had that too)
So erm, apart from the achievement playing on Hardcore, what was the reward that was mentioned at the start of the game?

cw8: So for the main quest:

******* SPOILERS *******

Who did you guys side with?
******* SPOILERS *******

I sided with myself. Took out Mr. House and proceeded to purge the wasteland. NCR and the Legion can get off my land!
http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1135390-wipzbeta-darnified-ui-nv/ v4 released.
Wish there was an ability to befriend or summon Deathclaws. Would be fun to see a couple rampaging through Legion's camp. I saw one at Black Mountain attacking the Super Mutants, surprising they all died from the single Deathclaw, then it came after me.
you could always spawn one in with the console whilst hiding

I believe you're looking for this: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36573
One thing I'd like to see is a mod that puts back the original Fallout 1 and 2 turn-based combat in these new FPS wannabe Fallouts. It could be done, by making combat VATS-only, and giving everyone, enemies, friendlies, and creatures have VATS too.

That's pure awesome, thanks for the link.

^This

I'll like New Vegas, only problems I have: the main questline is short and the combat. Melee Combat is too hack-and-slashy, shooting is ok. But I much prefer turn-based combat or tactical combat like the Infinity Engine RPGs.

Arteveld: Quick question regarding music [no, i don't want to google..]:
Since New Vegas reuses the awesome soundtrack from F1 and F2 by Mark Morgan, is it possible to use the 320kbps versions of the songs [from Vault Archives, which i snagged before it went offline] instead of the 128kbps versions which are in the game folder?
And, does it make an impact on game performance/stability?

Just took a glance at the names, but some are the same or very similar, so shouldn't be too hard to set up. :)

Must resist urge to use 'app for that' word play to avoid apple's legal team.

Despite originating as a 'fast vats' mod for fallout 3, it now has many flavours of VATS enhancements and play styles. Including the nearest thing you can get to turn based VATS as allowed by the gamebyro engine. Now supports New Vegas as well.

It's all about finding the right place on the map for the music to play. Couldn't find one yesterday, i was sure there would be one near Red Rock Canyon...

Just my luck...

Vegas crashes for me on the outros first screen.:P Perhaps Unlimited Companions wasn't a good idea after all. I've disabled all mods but unlimited companions, and the outro went for 2 screens, and crashed.

Btw. If anyone uses it: Wasteland Unlocked screws up land in a few places, for me, it was the road from the Black Mountain Fast Travel spot up to the radio station, the road was "fuzzy" kinda like "very low texture size", i believe it was just one layer of effects, when approached, the player falls dooooown...
