Woah... I just managed to be moved by the game. Talking to Chief Hanlon at the end of the Return To Sender quest, lets just say convincing him didn't have the outcome I expected!

When & if you see it, just one piece of advice. Count the bullets.

"Totally AGREE! WTF? RT @stephanieschopp the giant Radscorpion posse is too much for me at level 6. What gives? I can't get to the strip."

I am no mysogynist, but these women are ridiculously bad at games and fulfill the stereotype well. :P

The Radscorpions near the Mojave Outpost? Jesus I took them out at level 4 with a half-knackered Varmit Rifle. God help them when they see a Deathclaw.

Level 16 with good weapons and decent armor and I still can't kill even one Deathclaw, let alone several in a row.

The big daddy mosquitoes kill me quickly as well, but I can usually pick them off from a distance before they get near me.

I baseball batted some of them like a true Mafiaso around Level 4 too.

Then I went further and saw several giant ants around the corpse of one Radscorpion.

Go to the gun runners and pick up an anti-materiel sniper rifle, its a bucketload of caps (and the ammo is heavy as hell) but well worth it when you can one-shot deathclaws. Gives you the godlike sensation you got in fallout 3 when you had the alien blaster and the entire capital wasteland was your bitch. I've never used the armour piercing ammo for it but then if the normal can kill regular deathclaws in one shot, its hardly necessary. Sneak attack criticals are ideal with that gun, makes clearing the mine vastly easier (I did it solo so my companions wouldn't die)

Giant radscorpions aren't excactly simple to kill, its very dependant on your approach and your weapons. Get a varmit rifle and some AP ammo, hit their stinger from a sneak attack and they go down fast. Run in with laser gun blazing shooting their body and you'll get your arse handed to you because it very probably won't penetrate their shell. Much the same holds true for most of the tougher animals, Cazadores are another example of somthing you need to handle carefully because they can slaughter my level 28 character with ease if I don't attack them the right way

It sounds like someone isn't paying attention to how the game works and is trying to play it like fallout 3

I wouldn't say that at all, and I was not complaining at all about it as I like the extra depth and challenge to combat.

Check out this link. These mods changed the whole experience for me. Fantastic!
Have to say "That Gun" sold me on NV :)

It's neat... wish it was more powerful, but then I guess it wouldn't be so easy to get. As of right now though a 44 Magnum works much better as my pistol.

I agree. His monologue on the realities of war really had me thinking for a moment. An example of great writing from Obsidian.

Unfortunately, it's also the only example of great writing I've seen in the game so far. I'm level 24, about 33-34 hours in and nearing the end of the game I suppose. Nothing else has stood out to me in the writing department.
its kinda sad someone plowed though and beat the game already and was pissed at the ending... i really dont like powergamers, there mentality ticks me off.

Id rather sit in front of a movie-talker then a powergamer anyday... there is no respect for the game since they can crap money and it doesn't matter to them since they either can afford a new game every week or they are pure "renters" and dont own anything.

Same idiots that complained Fallout 3 was too short. If you play nothing but the main quests in FO3 or New Vegas you are doing it wrong.
