Well that's not quite what I meant. In any case, there's no accounting for taste - I just didn't like it lol
Hopefully obsidian can take all the cool gameplay elements of FO3 and actually make an interesting story/characters.

This actually looked really good. I love Obsidian. Granted, I'm sure this will be bug-ridden, but their works on other people's IPs have been pretty good so far. I was really impressed with KOTOR2 and I'm really getting into NWN2.
I think they're awesome at writing campaigns, dialogue, and designing scenarios, but I don't think they can code well. I'm anticipating Alpha Protocol will be a mess at this point. I hope that's not the case, but I kind of doubt it. Why they're not using an engine they're familiar with boggles the mind. If they had sense they would've done what Mistwalker did.
NWN2 had a few THOUSAND dialog options dropped at launch... there was so much more, so many quests.... it had hours and hours of quests and relation ship building nixed from the game because it needed to be release... Some similar things happened with KOTOR2...
There an amazing company but they shoot for the stars when they need to focus on the moon. thank god that Fallout is used to DLC, and they can drop a good solid core game on us and then patch in the content they left out...
Also thank all the holy gods of everyone that Obsidion didn't go stupid and use something other then the Gamebryo engine... that is a wonderful engine that can do anything... and its constantly being upgraded and added to and its even got some ROCK solid Multiplayer code in it.
Also Fryda Wolff is the sound designer... she is quite possibly the sexiest woman to ever touch a sythpad on the planet... and shes GOOD.... i mean ear melting insanely good.. im so beyond looking forward to this game knowing shes attached!

I get Fallout: New Vegas once it gets released. Was playing Fallout 3 on my XBOX 360 and I loved the game.
I love the games of Bethseda. Enjoyed Morrowind and Oblivion and I love how they released Elder Scrolls: Arena and Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall for free. (Arena and Daggerfall would be a wonderful edition to the GOG game list).

Looked her up. People that attractive shouldn't work in video games.

Since this is a single-player game, why the MP code is so important to you? I agree with the engine choice, but I think it was an obligation by Bethesda.
And I am totally against DLCs for this game, they should deliver a good SP at first, with no need to patch it out.

Oohhhh yes, they should. The more the better. ;)
by MP code i just ment that the engine itself is always being worked on... MP code was requested by a small upstart and they put it in... Even small requests b bethsoft have been met or they excited all expectations in delivery.
MP is not fallout, making an MMO or MP version just doesn't feel right... and about the DLC, unfortunately this is the trend... Part of the whole is released and then you get the full game later... but again this is Obsidian and they work differently... time will tell
Gamebryo? Well, gamebryo's ok i guess, it worked for Oblivion and, errr, Civilization IV. I just hope they won't go lazy like Beth went with FO3. But judging by what i've seen in NWN2, i'm a bit shaky.. I'll wait for something more solid than a teaser

FO:T is a wonderful game.
So...they do reuse some elements from Van Buren.

Fuck yes! Every one of those bullet points was like music to my ears.
"* There are special moves for melee weapons in VATS - specifically a move for a golf club called "Fore" which seems to be a groin shot."
Fukkin' A!
Wish Beth had the guts for that.
