Navagon: Nothing very ambitious so far from the screenshots. Hopefully that will change, but if I wasn't already interested in the game, these screenshots certainly wouldn't be selling it on me.

Well the things that sound more promising to me, or at least that might be, is the more "realistic" (sort of) hardcore mode where you have to be careful to eat, drink and sleep regularly, the karma system removed and replaced by a per faction reputation and that you can have companions. (but then again most of this was already available for Fallout 3 via mods...)

That's why I'm 'already interested in the game'. But visually it's looking like one of the less inspired Fallout 3 mods. I was hoping for something more along the lines of a cross between The Pitt and The Strip. Instead there's a load of rural American wasteland and not much else.

Personally one of my biggest regret with those screenshots is that they doesn't seems to have improved the character designs, especially the faces. The characters sill have the same "ugly/weird" looking faces (I am taking about humans of course not ghouls or mutants :) ) they already had in Fallout 3 or even in Oblivion.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The hair in particular is awful. Like Easy Pete's beard there.

Morrowind's faces were great! I liked them a lot. Fargoth is the only exception to this.
Fallout 3's on the other hand looks like botox treatment gone wrong.

First time I played it, I thought they were good. Of course, it may just be the rose tinted glasses helping me do the talking right now, but I recall liking the graphics - faces included - a lot.
