I was honestly a little disappointed to not see Fallout in the RPG sale going on this weekend. I knew it couldn't have been because they wanted to keep it medieval and fantasy-like because SS2 was in there.

It could be just me and my cheapskate-iness, but anyone else feel like this a little?

Not at all, actually. I bought the Fallout games long ago. The first one was also offered for free during a previous event. In all likelihood the games will be 50% during the next Winter Sale. Just because GOG is running a themed sale doesn't mean that the offer must include all games that fit the theme.
Fallout will go on sale several more times throughout the year, just to give everyone who wants them a chance to get them before they're potentially removed at the end of the year.

Couldn't have
No.
I'm glad I already picked up all the Fallouts.

Thank you for pointing that out, I never would have noticed.

Thank you for not calling me a nazi. :^)

Interplay tends to be a little stingy when it comes to promos, but, as the others have said, they'll likely go on a sale at some point before the end of the year since Interplay will lose the rights to sell them. If you buy 'em and the titles are removed from sale you will still be free to download the games from your library. At least that's the precedent set by other titles that have been removed.

I see you're fairly new. Welcome and so forth.
As Shaolin_sKunk hinted at, they'll most likely go on sale before Interplay loses the rights (similar to how we had an Atari sale).

I hoping, though, that GOG is currently working out a deal with ZeniMax, so these can stay and we can get even more classics (most of which are already on Steam, but y'know, let's get them openly DRM-free in the place to get good old games. ;)
Fallout and Fallout 2 are worth $50 a piece. You should buy them and send GOG a check for the difference.

Dreaming cost absolutely nothing :)

Don't get me wrong, we're on the same boat hehe, I like both games also.
