On the front page it says "download for free" on Fallout, but on the Fallout page, it is still listed as costing $5.99. How do you actually download it for free?

I've checked and it's not on the front page for me anymore. The free period for the game was roughly 48 hours from the livestream announcements from Thursday. In other words, you've missed it by about an hour or so. The game is now at it's usual cost of $5.99. If the site hasn't updated to take down that promotional details for you, it should update soon.

Im really upset by this. If it just ended then why does every website especially when I put in "free fallout" advertise the 48 hours to April 8th? I wasn't aware of this website until I seen the free fallout thing on an mmorpg website.

Check the timezones those websites are in.
