Poland is hours and hours ahead of any of the US timezones.

EDIT: They might have been using GMT, but even then that's up to 8 hours ahead of the US depending on which timezone you're in.

It said end 23:59 GMT April 8th. It started on the 6th. Does that mean the promo started later over there? The majority of the posts I seen was in that time zone. Im so distraught over this... -sigh-

I keep hearing that GOG is in Poland, checked the time and its still April 7th there, just like here.

I didn't say GOG though, just whatever websites it is that the OP is getting his info from. Course he might have been reading comments instead from people a full 12 hours from poland and the statement was that it ended midnight for them.
"What's going on" is that you were late for the promo, now you have to pay money for it. It's pretty much as simple as that.

It started on the evening of the 5th and there's more than 48 hours between the 5th and the 8th.

It did seem like it has been going on for 48 hours. Though I would hope the reporters on websites would have the story strait.

Sorry the offer is gone, but it is and you'll need to move past that. I'd recommend looking up Fallout and Fallout 2 videos on Youtube, then deciding if the gameplay is still something you'd enjoy. If you think it is, 6 bucks isn't that much (unless it is in Norway), and you'd get PLENTY of gameplay.

I was actually talking about the website and no it wasnt just someone reading comments it was an article. Actually "what was going on" was that websites dont know how to be accurate and I was trying to figure out was the time for the promo here and there

Which means whoever wrote that article messed up. No need to be pissed at people here if whoever wrote the post you're referring to can't do proper write-ups.

It was just the fact that that person kinda tried me. Im not sure if it was just a mess up though because I read that on multiple sites. That's the only reason I was confused.

Personally, I've got an original disc of the game somewhere, and I've played through it countless times.

I just figured, since there was a free offer here, I'd get it installed and play it again, as it's been some time since I played it.

It looks someone messed it. Either GOG or journalists. When you look at RPS, they published their article on the 5th April, 7:30 pm, they clearly stated it will last for exactly 48 hours and followed with stating that offer ends on the 8th, 23:59 GMT, so it's clearly wrong.

That was my situation. I grabbed it just a convenience item. Sucks that you jumped in a second too late, but at least you have had a chance to play the game before.
