No, in his first post he said nothing of the sort to which you responded "The best way to play Fallout 3 is not to play it" insinuating that you do not think Fallout 3 is worth playing.

If this had been a thread where OFG gave his opinion of FO3 then I wouldn't care but he was looking for help and instead of providing any you decided to give your uncalled for oft-repeated and never heeded opinion of FO3, that's what I find irritating.

Well I was joking with him like I always do to begin with, so it shouldn't really matter what your opinion on anything I say is anyway. It's something us two do regularly. So otherwise, this basically boils down to you not liking someones opinion of a game.

Just answer me this: How could a stranger on the internet know intuitively that A) you have a friendly relationship with someone and B)You're joking without the applicable smileys? I'm not the NSA, I don't have charts detailing everyone's relation to each other

I'm not specifically picking on you, you know, the NMA rhetoric just gets really annoying to see the millionth time around especially when someone's looking for help.

Well, I've already played Fallout 3 three times, so I guess I've passed Fallout 8 already. I'm saving myself tons of money on future purchases.

You should play Fallout 3 two more times, maybe you'll like Fallout 9.

You cannot know, but you don't have to continue to moan after the fact is stated. If OFG doesn't like me pulling his leg, he could say something and I would stop. But he's done no such thing.

I was just responding to the first poster that I had never heard of nexusmods before and was going to check it out when a thunderstorm knocked out my power, been out for awhile, just got back, and saw this.

THANK YOU!!!

And pay no attention to those above who apparently don't know one of the best computer games ever made even if it bit them in, you know, that place. :-P
Nexusmods is the place to go for Fallout 3 mods. If you don't mind a bit of prep-work then I'll second FO3 Wanderers Edition (though I may be a bit biased because some of my mods were incorporated into it). FWE has built in menus where you can change a lot of stuff on the fly from within the game. It doesn't reduce XP but it lets you spread out the level up requirements so that you need way more XP to progress. FWE, Weapon Mod Kits and Marts Mutant Mod makeup the core mods for my Fallout 3 experience.
