Steam has the first F.E.A.R. game with all expansions for $9.99. Pretty good deal if I do say so. Was wondering then if this game is coming to GOG anytime soon. Would like to see it at the same price but with the extras like soundtrack, wallpapers, avatars, etc.
Paraphrasing ID software: When it's older. ;>

And welcome to GOG!:)

Thanks, even this is my first forum post here I have 22 GOG games already hehe. :)
It's owned by Warner Bros. Interactive, who have no deal with GOG setup that we know of, so no one can really say.
I doubt it for the immediate future, but who knows.
Oh boy... just a month ago, I could not find F.E.A.R. Platinum (or like the steam version) under the minimum price of 50$, and now it seems they are almost giving it away.
Please repeat after me:
GOG is not Steam.

Highly commendable, sir!:)
On the other hand, 2005 could be considered old by some, especially that there are 2005 games on GOG, one even appeared recently.
Though i'd prefer GOG to release older games that cannot be bought anywhere, but at an absurd price on eBay.
[Yes, GOG, i am referring to those earlier Sierra Quest titles among many!]
Don't forget, its not just about price, but they might not agree to the DRM free part of the sale, which is one of the hardest parts of getting a game on Gog.

Right. It's Warner Bros., and Warner Bros. is pretty new to the games market in terms of publishing, so they're probably unfamiliar with services like GOG. They just know Steam is the big crazy thing that everyone loves, so their games should go there.
WB also like their regional restrictions. So convincing them to sell worldwide will be a challenge -- they've even restricted FEAR on Steam.

I was surprised going to amazon and seeing you are right, for a new edition that is. Used copies are as low as $10.
I still have my Director's Edition, which is one of the cooler box designs since PC games went DVD size.
Went ahead and got it. Can finally display it in it's proper glory. Still a darn good looking game.

I saw the release of the first FEAR on Steam.
I would love to buy it so badly on GoG.
What do you mean 'restricted to steam' ?
Link ?

Not released in the European areas. It's restricted in Germany.
