Your having change your avatar now makes sense, flub.

I am inclined to believe your innocent child claim but for two things: You have already explained your human claim by saying that it was a sort of outburst, and the fact that your original claim states that your an alien. You then flopped over to a human claim and then an alien claim.

Other than that, I'm a little suspect of Lifthrasil's claim. I can't entirely pinpoint why yet, but something about it feels scummy to me.

Having said that, I took "lone mason" to be a joke role too, which would throw suspicion on you... But I find our vanillas more interesting.
And a few of the other roles too. E.T. Phone Seeker...."E.T. PHONE HOME."

I'm willing to bet that might not have had any actual power. It does seem like Vitek went out of his way to avoid leaving Vanilla townies out of this.

Actually, can everyone paraphrase their role PMs? Starting with the 3 Vanillas?

What exactly do you mean by that? Isn't that what we just have been doing with our claims? I mean according to the rules Vitek set we are not allowed to disclose the exact content of the role PM. Only disclose it's content in our own words. And that's what I did in my claim.


Also: we actually have no Doctor and no Cop? Seems quite a weak town to me. Aside from that I agree that three Vanillas are questionable, even if I am one of them. I agree that it would be the easiest role to falseclaim. Still, it's what my Role-PM said. But two more Vanillas make it look strange. So it is probable that there is at least one mafia among the 'Vanillas'. Or even two (not three though, because I know myself to be town. ;-) )


Also I find the role of 'Emboldener' a bit strange. But maybe that is because I didn't participate in game 6 and thus don't get the joke reference.

It just ococcurred to me that now is probably a good time to mention that I'm on a train to Anglesey. I have a mobile phone that can internet, but expect slightly stunted posts because quoting is a pain on this thing.

Two things, one of which is really annoying me..

As town, when we claim, we tell the truth - or should do, except for exceptional circumstances. we have a lynch all liars rule for a reason.

The roles claimed by everyone just DO NOT make sense - its the weakest Town line up i've ever seen! I expected to see at least three big power roles claimed - and all we get is one tracker, one unkillable (who can only use it 3 times) and one lonely child??!!!

There has to be more than that surely, otherwise we are doomed. Also - Twilight, i pretty much did paraphrase my PM - I came to this planet as it has fond memories for me , as I won an award for designing part of it. Nowhere was I actually told I was 'vanilla' - it was just stated that my designing skills were useless in the circumstances, and powers - none.

There's plenty of people now about to say 'ah you would say that!!' - but i'm not sure a mafia player Would actually claim vanilla - doesn't give people enough of a reason to think twice if a bandwagon forms. But then - if all who have claimed vanilla ARE actually vanilla Town, then it is a truly weak town we have! I'm tempted to go with lifthrasil and say one who claimed vanilla is probably lying.

And as my vote is on CSPVG already, i'm sticking with it. In his reveal, he speaks of 'defending this town' - yet claims no power.....doesn't sit right with me at all.

I'd be suspicious of the odd roles as well, if it wasn't for the fact that the first lynch was a Lone Mason, and our second was a Phone Seeker (ET), both of which sound made up. As far as a weak town, we don't know what p1na's role was, so our protective role could have been there (I know I'm the investigative), and we have a Jack of All Trades.

As far as claiming vanilla...honestly, in this situation I would be hard pressed to find a sane claim after seeing a Town Phone Seeker, or a Lone Mason. The vanilla townies do look the most suspect, but outside of my role and Quad's, I haven't seen a damn standard role to begin with, so who knows what's going on.

I'm referencing this post simply because it illustrates the point I want to make.

Robbeasy says my PM doesn't actually say I'm vanilla. However he can conclude from reading the PM (better than me I hope) there is nothing else involved regarding his role. He can therefore conclude he is a vanilla townie. Should someone come along and claim, either earlier or later, their PM specifies "Vanilla" then we would have a discussion.

Now my point.

Early on in Day One we had the discussion of whether we had good human/alien bad human/alien....remember??

I made the claim I was a human and not an alien.

CSPVG then made this statement.

Now that we are fairly certain we're all aliens, how did he know we were all aliens so early in the game??

Just a logical deduction there Mr. Spock??

flubbucket-Yes, actually it was a simple logical deduction. I have stated before that my reading of the original flavour post made me think that we were all aliens, and that there were only two opposing factions of 'good' and 'evil'.

You still haven't given a proper answer to my allegations in post 721, flub.

TwilightBard-I paraphrased my role PM in my claim post, going so far as to use its format. Rob and Lifth's claims are both very suspect to me, as they don't fall in line with my post's format. However, I guess one could simply say that they decided to paraphrase their role PMs that way.

In general-This will of course seem like OMGUS, but I do believe that both the players currently voting for me are mafioso.

Flubbucket is suspicious for his early game claim flopping and his recent failure to properly account for it.

Robbeasy only made himself suspect to me with his most recent post. In particular the line, " Nowhere was I actually told I was 'vanilla' - it was just stated that my designing skills were useless in the circumstances, and powers - none." This is odd to me, as the very first line of my role PM states that I am a vanilla townie. Furthermore, Robbeasy's quoted statement says that he has no powers, but yet he suspects me for having none. Surely you can see the silliness in this, Rob? How could you defend this town without having any powers? How does any townie ever defend town without having powers? We use our votes( admittedly, we've used them poorly thus far).

That is interesting. Because in my case the role PM explicitly stated that I was "Grey, Town Vanilla". So what exactly was your role title? Everyone else got one even if it was something as ridiculous as 'Phone Seeker'.

Both of you are looking increasingly scummy to me.

I think that if we were all townies, our role PMs would be similar. I certainly didn't get a faux-role like Town Designer, and the word order in my PM's first line is the reverse of Lifthrasil's( stating that I am a Vanilla townie, instead of a Town Vanilla). Therefore, I can only concluded( knowing that I am a Vanilla Townie) that both of you are lying, and doing so rather badly. Well that, or Vitek's game really is that wacky.

Vitek, would you tell us what exactly TwisterBE's role entailed?
