I'm not going to lie, I'm laughing at your last statement compared to what you said in your first sentence. If you don't disclose information, then why do you complain that there isn't any?

My big complaint has nothing to do with you taking or not taking responsibility for your votes. I'm complaining that when you go 'I agree, vote whoever' that you aren't contributing or adding any thoughts or information beyond what someone else is already putting out there. It leaves us with nothing to discuss.

Our cause seems hopeless.

Everyone seems to be thrashing around saying very little and not really coming up with anything. Like I said at the start of the day, we can only work with whatever facts are at our disposal from the first Nights actions and the wagon on N0x0ss...

So in that spirit , a few questions for people, to try and get something going. I'm going to refer specifically to N0x0ss' wagon, as it really is the only bit of evidence we can work with...

SPF - you started the wagon on N0x0ss by using Joe's point, and never reall followed it up , except for one peculiar post where you reiterated your vote and did a joke 'megavote'. Can you just give us your reasons why the original vote was cast, and why you felt the need to reiterate it and underline it later on?

CSPVG - short and sweet with your vote - care to expand on your thoughts around that time when you voted?

TwisterBE - reason given was that you were on three yourself - could easily be seen as Mafia desperately trying to get another wagon going so his gets less limelight. After deadline reveal as well. You are new to the game, so mistakes are easy to make , as Town as well as Mafia. Can you give us any other reasons you voted for N0x0ss, or was it just a reaction to get attention away from yourself?

Quad - reason stated was purely to get a lynch. Did you have NO confidence at all that N0x0ss was Mafia? Was he a suspect in your eyes at that time at all?

Lifthrasil - Hammerer. How comfortable were you hammering at that time? Did YOU have N0x0ss high on your list of scum, or was it more a need to lynch someone, anyone, before deadline?

I am well aware I was also on N0x0ss, but I think I made my reasons for voting clear in my first bandwagon analysis post (#451). N0x0ss for me had made many anti-town posts and was very erratic in his thoughts. I got off the wagon when he got to L-3, just in case it all went through a bit quick (we still had plenty of time then), but another slip when he contradicted himself in regard to Pazzer i felt was the final nail in the coffin for me , and I considered him definitely scum at that point.

No-one is under obligation to answer any of my questions of course....

Actually I saw hammering N0x0ss as the best (or least dangerous) option for the town. The alternative would have been a no-lynch, which yields no information. But beyond that N0x0ss had acted strangely and I had him on my suspects list. Even if not on top position. I had a hunch that he might be an overactive town. But he could as well have been a mafia hiding behind an artificial 'this wouldn't benefit a mafia' overactivity, after already having become suspicious. But I thought that even if he would turn out to be town, his death would be less bad than a no-lynch. Because, as I explained in the hammering post, with his playstyle he provided an easy target and distraction for the mafia.
So actually his actions were of greater benefit to the mafia than to the town and with a no-lynch on day one and a surviving N0x0ss he would have continued to be suspect No. 1 behind which the (other) mafias could hide. So I still think that lynching N0x0ss was, with the information we had at the time, a better option than the no-lynch alternative.

Probably a bad thing. I don't think it counts as paranoia if they genuinely are trying to murder you.

Lifthrasil and M. Bucket have fallen back in my favour. I've forgotten again the thing about Bucket, but I just like Lifthrasil's most recent post. I just like it is all.

Perhaps there are those trying to steal Quad's throne, but I keep my vote on Quad for now.

I really hope I don't come across as pedantic TwilightBard, but your comments about cards close to the chest and lack of information seems insincere coming from a player with such a low post count. Also your posts don't really have any substantial content either.

As I said in the post you quoted, I read something as a PR hinting what he is. Do I go and say "Oh, look, JMich hints in that post that he is a {insert role here}. Am I reading too much into it?" or just say "Hm, there are a few posts that make me want to do a better reading."?

Why post that fact? Because if I did read the post right, it is an investigative role. I don't know if he does have any information yet, though it does look that way, but for obvious reasons it would be bad for the PR to claim at this point, or for me to point that PR out.

Now I understand why Joe told me I should have sat on this information.

@TwilightBard: actually the point that Joe and flubby raise is quite valid. There hasn't been much from you to read yet. And while you may indeed have no time at the moment your post reads a bit like stalling. With a new deadline drawing nearer, it is really not helpful to postpone posting your 'interesting results'. So please share your results as soon as you can. I will be reading your next post very carefully to see whether you actually try to help, or whether you are just playing for time until the deadline is there.

My original vote? Well there was a suble softclaim , a bit of rolefishing/possible power role outing [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/extraterrestrials_gog_mafia_16/post62]there. The rolefishing was ridiculously anti-town. If he believed what he was saying then why was he saying it? If he didn't believe what he was saying then why was he saying it? I was pretty surprised that he flipped town, but I still think that he was the right person to lynch.

There were two joke Megavotes, the first was jokier and was in response to a bit of OMGUS from N0x directed at TwisterBE.

My revote and second Megavote was basically me saying that if I wasn't already voting for N0x I would be now.

I am not yet convinced that QuadrAlien is the one I should be voting for. Then again, there doesn't seem to be any other lynch candidate, unless someone can make a proper case against one of the others. And we are still lacking in activity...
