Hmm. N0x0ss is still leading the field. But two of the people voting for him are ones I don't trust. CSPVG and Twister. Also I'm getting more and more the impression that his playstyle is too extroverted for a mafia. While I still think that his posts have sowed more confusion than done good, I am still not willing to re-join the N0x0ss train because there is the good possibility that he is a mafia target instead of a mafia (with two of my suspects voting for him).

So, I was berated for switching my vote on someone who has hardly any chance of getting a majority before the deadline. And while I in principle would like to vote for the one I see as the most suspicious, I also see the reasoning that it may be better to vote for the second or third most suspicious now that the deadline is approaching. So that we have a chance of getting a lynch and learning something more. Therefore I switch my vote again (I know, bad style to switch so often, I'll try to be more consistent when we know more).

to get him to the same number of votes as N0x0ss. While CSPVG is not on the top of my suspect list, he seems to me more suspicious than N0x0ss by now. So I guess that the chances of a righteous lynch are higher if we vote CSPVG.

If the majority asks/votes for it, is it possible to prolonge the deadline ?

I was going to say something like "I've gone off all my top suspects, but actually I just looked at some notes I made and yeah pazzer's contradictions are enough for me to want to stick with quad. Not very fair on QuadrAlien I know but what can we do?

yeah I read it and didn't think much at the time but I look back at it with my suspcious spectacles on and I see how it sort of neatly shifts focus from quad to CPG - actually I don't really know what I'm trying to say what's wrong with trying to shift suspicion from off yourself?

I would support a 24 hour extension but nothing more. I don't really want the day to be longer but I don't want Joe to miss the excitement.

I'm having the itchiness with CamperJoe suspecting SirPrimate along with having voted for Quadrotriticale. Then SirPrimate calling for an extension in hopes to swing the vote away from Quadrotriticale in the final hours maybe??

Why the extension? Joe has been clear on his reasons and has had plenty of time to digest all the information thus far.

Noxoss and CSPVG tie closest to lynch with 4 votes each, at L-3.

So we need 3 people to switch votes before deadline to lynch either N0xie or CS. Or 4 people to switch to get a Quadlynch.

Suggestion to P1na: you would be an obvious choice for switching. I know that Twister is suspicious. But at one vote there is hardly any chance that he will be majority-voted for by Sunday. So if you are town (which I doubt) you might want to switch to one of the major share-holders to avoid a no-lych. And if you are scum you might still want to switch to make yourself look more townish ... or you could stick to your 'lost vote' and thereby confirm that you want a no-lynch. ;-)

Argh! Of course I forgot to alter the one number in the list that I wanted to alter. But the conclusion remains true. Well, here's the corrected list. Whoever finds more errors can keep them (or share them, or give them away).

I thought I made quite clear I wanted anything but a no-lynch, but wanted to save the day at the last minute.

That said, voting for quad and getting a triple deadlock sounds like fun.

Very sorry - I've had something come up IRL and I've been forced to spend time away from the computer. Family matters, nothing I could ignore.

I was *this* close to asking for a replacement, but decided against it, as hopefully the reasons for me being away are lessening slightly.

I hate lurkers - and believe me I wouldn't hide behind this defence if it was just me lurking.

Anyway - I see we are heading to the usual..it seems every time I play this game, someone comes under pressure first day, then as deadline looms, everyone goes - no it cant be them, its been too long under suspicion, or others have grabbed attention in the meantime, and we end up having a massive switch of votes late on, and someone who was under no suspicion at all ends up getting lynched.

Remember - we take the WHOLE day into consideration, not just the last half hour of posts. I am going to have a reread, and I'm counting up one thing only - amount of slips. Plenty of players have made odd mistakes today, but as everyone keeps saying - we have NO information to work with. So odd posts and slips are all we have.

You can make arguments for people's playing style all you like, but you have to ask yourself whether that playing style is faked, forced, or even suitable for a Town player. With that in mind, my current suspects are ..

N0x0ss - many contradictions, self-confessed and claims of trying to 'trap' other players. Just anti-town play, full stop.

P1na - nothing of real substance. Quite a few posts, most of them jokey, almost as if hiding something...

TwisterBE - lurking (although like i said, i can talk)...

Flubbucket - first up with softclaiming, posing questions about alien / human make up.

Joe Sapphire - Still a bit quiet for me, not playing like his usual style at all. I'm aware of the dangers of meta-gaming, but somethings rubbing me wrong with him.
