No. Honestly I don't have more than gut reactions right now. There's a few pings, but there's nothing enough that makes me have enough to write up the kind of list that I feel should be done. I'm not against them, but most lists are just 'These people are scum, these people are town, and I don't know where these people fit', and those are USELESS. I take them with a grain of salt and most of the time skip them as useless posts. If you post something with reasoning behind it, then I feel that's worth reading.

Reality, my vote is currently on the person I most strongly believe is Mafia right now, and while I haven't found his scumbuddies, I'm fairly confident that it won't take too long. I just don't have reasons to suspect most people and it's not worth the list right now.

Conversation seems to have hit a wall. We talked about our differing interpretations of the flavour texts and the possibilities of role-types until we'd basically taken everything of use from those subjects, and then moved on to sharing our suspects(which also appears to have been used for all its worth).

I'm not really sure which area we could discuss next, as nothing momentously suspicious has happened( as is usually the case on the first day). I thought that discussing the people we least suspect would be helpful, but I'm not so sure. Does anyone else think that the stated topic would be useful?

I may have to resort to having a thread re-read. Perhaps then I could have something more to contribute afterwards.

Good idea. I'll go through the thread again as well. Perhaps that yields some insight.

I'd suggest everybody to post their top 6 Scummiest suspects in order of scummness as I'd like to make a cross-reference between the answers.
I understand however if it seems laborious. Tell me if you like the idea, and I'd post my list.

My thoughts so far range to who is the least scummiest. Those are of course myself, SirPrimalform, TwilightBard, JMich.

I cannot vouch for them in any way but I do not plan to vote for them in the near future.

I did say I was going to lurk... But hey, nice to see me back on the suspect list. Makes me feel part of the (friendly and not mafioso in any sense) gang.

Mr Bucket - The claim thing. It's getting less interesting as time goes on but I'm still stubbornly clinging to it. It's interesting to me (have you told us why you did yet?) and I like to think that it is a confident mafia play. 13 points.

Pazzer has recently come in guns ablazing contradicting himself. It would be more damning I think if it was anybody but Pazzer. If anybody else would like to start doing that and giving away your mafiescity that would be very nice help thanks. 5 points.

I just remembered, once again, that Robbeasy is someone that I always convince myslef must be mafia. How do you do it Rob? Eventually he'll have to be. I remember making him a target but I can't remember why now. He seems reluctant to accuse. To get into the game. It's just feeling and I should probably check to justify myself but Twiglet has made me too sad and I haven't the energy. 2 Points

-Lifthrasil. This is just weak reasoning and stubbornness. Got defensive when I accused him earlier with rather illogical reasoning. 1 point and a half.

-N0x0ss. I don't think he is mafia but he could be. 4 points but with a -3 bonus because of past experience.

-Twiglet. Refused to play my game. I will never forgive him. A million points.

JMich as I stated is to me either mafia or has a power role... And as I really can't seem to decide, I find him suspicious.

Lifthrasil could be a naive first-time player, but he could very well be playing the role.

SirPrimalform is playing it too safely for his own good.

Pazzer still looks suspicious (Maybe it's just because he changed his pic from harley to the jocker, but maybe it''s also because of him having to quit suddenly and his actions afterwards.. I just have this feeling that something doesn't seem right)

And Messeurs Twister and Sapphire? Am I still too devilishly skilled and handsome to be trustworthy?

Difficult. I don't really know how to rank my suspicions.

TwisterBE and N0x0ss both behaved suspiciously. Both justified themselves, but scum would justify themselves as well. So these two are still on my list of suspects.

P1na writes a lot, but at closer inspection much of it isn't really helpful for the town. So I'd place him at Nr. 3 on my suspicion list at the moment.

Pazzer makes Nr. 4. He is difficult to evaluate, because of his longish absence. But he seemed not overly worried about who we lynch, like TwilightBard pointed out. Nothing definitive, but I got the feeling upon re-reading that Pazzer would have preferred to move on to the nightkillphase quickly.

Then there is JoeSapphire. But that is mostly meta-suspicion. He seems very experienced or very eloquent and it would be a waste not to use that eloquence where it is needed most. I.e. befuddling everyone and wreaking havoc in secret. So I suspect him to be mafia mostly because I would make him mafia if I had handed out the roles.

Number 6 gets very difficult because I can't place most of the other ones. Purely on feeling I would say flubbucket might be scum. Or Sir Primalform (protected by the fact, that everyone will be careful voting for him because we can't unvote). So instead of 6 concrete suspects I have 5 plus 2 vague ones.

My suspicion of TwilightBard was mostly based on his quick voting without reason at the beginning. But since RVS seems to be a standard method for starting the day, that suspicion was probably just based on my inexperience, so I'll drop my suspicion on him for now. JMich seems to be genuinely trying to help. True, that might be an act, but at the moment I don't find anything that would justify a suspicion. And Robbeasy appears to me to be town. He seems to be trying to do the right thing for the town. (trying to avoid a speed-lynch when not convinced of the suspects guilt, for example).

Of course I wouldn't vouch for anyone and still suspect everyone. But these are my impressions so far.

Also, do we know how much mafia players there are ? Is this determined randomly, or is it a fixed number(like half of the players) ?

My top three for mafia now are Messirs Twister, Bucket and Pazzer.

Not in terms of I actually think it is them but in terms of I really WANT them to be mafia because the way they're playing would make them a most fantastic team.

Well, like I said, I don't want to make a list without having reasons why I think the people are Mafia. Otherwise, there's not really a lot to read into such a post. I'll do a rescan tomorrow if I can find some spare time, I think my phone is still logged into the site <.< Might reread during lunch.
