I seem to remember this happening awhile back with a few people, too. I guess the error found its way back.

That's what I was trying to find out.

It wasn't a "what's in my pocket" question, more like those puzzles where lack of information is actually crucial information, like #13 here. How could anyone on GOG know for sure what exactly happened to me, so that I even put a special provision for it in the initial post? Most likely if the same happened to them, on GOG (though adambiser almost guessed).

Since the forum didn't turn into DESU DESU DESU, I figured out that either no one else got the glitch - or someone did, but they were keeping silence, in which case $100 would be a good motivator to break it. And the post could be disguised among a number of other suggestions of improbable occurrences.

Relax dude, it's not such a strange thing. There was a rash of it a while ago where people started acquiring other people's sessions.

Previously I think they'd just screwed up going to a multi server environment (my guess). Whatever the case, people were being logged in as others. It's probably something similar. We got the admin privs before, however when we tried to use them they didn't work. It's probably some dodgy sticky session handling on their load balancer.
