If anyone has an extra code for RoA they would not mind parting with please PM me. I filled out the survey but did not get the code yet for some reason.

I already own RoA 1&2, so if anyone wants my code they can have it. Anyone need it?

I think I'll hold on to my code for a while in the hopes I can trade it for some game I don't have at some point in the future.

Same here, although I might gift it to somebody in the future. It feels like gifting it right now just rewards sloth as pretty much everybody had the opportunity to get it for free. I'm not sure why anybody needs it right now.

I think the OP should contact GOG if he filled out the survey though.

How does gifting work excactly? Is it enough to just tell the other person the code?

Yes. The other person then clicks the "Redeem gift" link at the bottom of this page, enters the code on the page that comes up, and voilà.
