Greetings.

Is everyone downloading the new releases and/or The Witcher 2? I'm getting ridiculously slow speed from the downloader. About 350 B/s.

you sure it isnt your side? also try it without the downloader. supposed to be slower.

Just downloaded The Witcher 1 only three hours ago. Got 5MB/sec at my end.

lugum: you sure it isnt your side? also try it without the downloader. supposed to be slower.
1,0 MB/sek without the downloader. I guess it could be on my side but I'm a bit dubious about that.

well 1,0mb.s sure is alot faster. so that's partially the downloader thing.

That's a bit odd. Suddenly the downloader lost the connection and after a while it got it back and now it's up to normal speed again. Hmmm...

Edit: Apparently that was only the game. The extras is downloading even slower than before.

You sure it's not your firewall/antivirus messing with the downloader? At least one antivirus is known to want to run the downloader in sandbox mode, which means that speeds will be extremely slow.

I haven't changed firewall or antivirus programs for a while and haven't had problems with them before. But they do update frequently so I'll test if that could be it.

Many thanks! It turned out I had exactly the same problem.
Though it's strange that I could download the games much faster than the extras.
