Wow, there are really talented people out there. Wish I'd be one of them... :(
Aww ... :)
Ordinarily, I would be concerned about a young child named "bacon" playing with such a powerful tiger. It's a darn good thing that Hobbes is primarily a tuna-eater and a member of G.R.O.S.S.
that was awesome, the archies, calvin and hobbes, Asterix good times........

Wishbone: That certainly made me smile. Damn near brought a tear to my eye too.
Aye. That was beautiful. And sad at the same time.

I only started reading C&H in my late childhood though, that was when I was around 10 or so, but I still enjoy flipping through it at the library.

I don't know the names of the editors and illustrations responsible for the art style from the 70s and onwards, but I like their works a lot. They really nailed comic slapstick humour. Archies went on a decline from 2003 onwards.

Thank you.

I LOVE Calvin and Hobbes and this is a true spiritual finale.

:')
Nice idea... sometimes as an older person I wish I could go back for a couple of days (in summer).
Very nice....

EndlessKnight: I believe this is the original site for the comic. I haven't searched it yet, but it seems likely that it's the only one.
You're right. And there is a second part since yesterday:
hobbes and bacon part 2

Click next and he did another one actually. It's good too.
Nice. Thanks for pointing out the other one.

I just hope that Waterson doesn't get upset, though he usually gets more angry about things that "cheapen" the comic, and are selling for money.

Everyone in their comments section seems to want Hobbes & Bacon to be some kind of official continuation.
this thread just made me order "The Complete Calvin and Hobbes" :)
