I think applying pressure (if that's what it might be called) this soon is not the right thing. LucasArts would be right, after just one week of the GOG Beta, to say 'GOG who?'.
We have to be patient. Support GOG in the short and medium term with the titles it licenses and when it has become a larger operation and known as well as Steam, then apply the pressure. All we're doing now is making LucasArts say 'Let's put out a $60 compilation if people want these titles, or let's put them on Steam for $14.99 each with no compatibility coding.
GOG is too new to stand any chance at all of getting LucasArts on board, in my opinion. Let's pressure to get the MIcroprose back catalogue along with the Sierra back catalogue from Infogrammes. That's a better target to aim at at this early part of GOG's life..

Oh, man.
I could go for GOG taking Monkey Island series and Grim Fandango...
My good sir, I believe we do share the same line of thought. God I would love for the X-Wing/ Tie Fighter series to come out. Let alone the good old SCUUM games. Love me some Maniac Mansion and Fate of Atlantis.
hehe this post made me go through my old computer archives and I actually found the Detroit floppies hidden amongst my Lucas Arts collection and the DOS manuals!! (Damn I love DOTT... tastes like childhood).

Tarzimal: ...the Detroit floppies...

that game was as close as i've ever gotten to knowing anything about cars.
good fun.
This whole GOG thing got me going through my old games too - and I found my Ultimate RPG Archives compilation that I had forgot about!
It has the Bard's Tale Trilogy and Construction Set, Might and Magic: World of Xeen (including Clouds of Xeen and Darkside of Xeen!), Stonekeep (will have to see if I can get it working - if not I have GOG!), Ultima Underworld 1 and 2, Dragon Wars, Wasteland and Wizardry Gold!
How I could have failed to remember I had it is beyond me - but this is what's great about going through your old games, you find gems like this and it feels like you just bought it!
Retro gaming - so good a feeling, so good a gaming and such Good Old Games! :)

Terramedic: So I am just going to come out and say it....
Please oh great lord of keyboard and mouse controlled interactive entertainment let Lucas Arts come to their senses and let GOG have their backlog.

Amen!

Wayren: Amen!

2men. Er, I mean, seconded.
I would KILL for a nostalgia-filled romp through SW: Dark Forces again. (I'd also consider severe wounding/limb removal). PLEEEEEASE, Lucasarts?

I only have a legal version of Monkey Island 1 flying around in a box somewhere. It'd be most excellent if we could get all the good SCUMM games for an appropriate price again. I remember playing Fate of Atlantis at a friends' PC as if it was yesterday. Especially that part about looking intently at Sophias Amulet. *cough* Well, I was young.
This, and maybe some Sierra (* Quest) games, and I'll never be able to leave my PC again.

I thought the same thing. It will be great to have Eidos/SCi's back catalogue, too.
While it is unlikely i'd LOVE to see their classics on GOG. But hell i've seen many things lately that i've never thought could happen, soooo... there's allways a chance
That reminds me .... i've never played Full Throttle over the demo :(

Wow now there's a game I had forgotten all about! I bet I still have the cd stashed somewhere, but I doubt it would run on my PC. The little time I spent on it was really enjoyable... didn't progress much though, as I wasn't very good at shooters back in the day :P

You heard the man, Lucasarts. Get to work, chop chop!
Lucas Arts was a gaming company that could do no wrong back in the day. That is up until they focused more or less only on the Star Wars cash machine. Their adventure games where always top notch in content and a decent length to boot.
Make that a huge and loud YES!!!!
