Guys, there was a website posted somewhere on the forum that basically had database of entries related to how much time one needs to complete a game... anybody has a link or something?
howlongtobeat.com, I believe.

Although the suggested times should be taken with a truckload of salt.

Interesting, I compared the stats on "How long to beat" with games that I either can remember how long it took me to finish or to games that I can compare with my steam list, and my finish time seem to be between 50-80% of the listed average.

Hahahah!

@keremix: Thanks for that link.
Yeah, my averages have tended to be much higher than what's on my completed list. And thanks to GOG, Steam and Gamersgate deals, I have a total backlog worth 78 days of gaming to complete every game I've got on there using the averages on the site. 78 fakking days. Even if I played 24 hrs a week every week, I still wouldn't finish everything I've got on backlog over the course of a year.
Way to go BG1 (58) BG2 (60) like woah. ME1/2 only 23/29 ?

I do believe that heavily depends on how you play it. I seem to remember BG1 (with the expansion, i think) being estimated at over 100 hours (150, was it?), while BG2 with its expansion getting an estimate at 200-250.

Just to be a smart ass.

There is actually 168 hours in a week.

I believe he knew that and was just suggesting that if he managed to play a full day's worth in a one week period, every week, it would still take over a year to complete his backlog. ;)
