(if this has been posted or asked, I am sorry. I find the gog search option terribly horrible)

I find in incredibly odd that Valve, for instance, is perfectly okay with blood, gore and horrible violence, but then games like Seduce Me (http://www.seducemegame.com/) gets banned from Greenlight. Why?

Average games is what, 30+ years now? Do we still see video games as kid entertainment, where if you see a nipple, run for the hills, burn all copies of video games you can find and sue the makers ?
Seduce Me is pretty much porn from what I hear though, not much game involved.
With the AO rating I'm pretty positive it shows more than a nipple. :P God of War shows nipples all the time and only has an M rating.

I found Valve's decision absurb but well, it's their business and they can do whatever they want within legal boundaries.
Are you serious? Valve pulled this game from greenlight?

Got a source or some news article about this?

It's based on US content law, the weird ass kind of law where nudity causes a bigger out-roar for even something like Janet Jackson's half second nipple flash at the Super Bowl, as opposed to showing dead bodies on t.v. It's a bit of a double standard I feel. There's a difference between nudity and sex, and a little difference between legal/illegal exposure (You could have a piece of tape covering your nipple and it's legal)
I myself prefer my kids see nipples instead of violence.

Is the average gamer really 30+? Or are you just postulating? I wouldnt think the average GOG user is even 30+ and I assume thats an "older" community.
Yes.

Steam is a private owned company and if they don't like sex and don't allow it, it's their free will. It's kinda old news, btw.

From the makers themselves. I'm sure there are more sources, but this was the first I found.
Don't try to find reason it it, USA is just like that. Steam is just kowtowing to USA sensibilities.

Here, Roman.
Its America, what do you expect? they have serious issues with seeing naked bodies and completely natural things such as sex, but when it comes to violence, gore, guns etc, they're totally fine with it

It's fucking retarded. Murder, destruction and mayhem is more accepted than the human body and procreation.

Like I said in the OP, I am sorry if this has been discussed before, since I couldn't find the thread.

I wouldn't want also to steam to change into some strip poker distribution service. :P

Well, I just took a look at the game's homepage.

That's not just nipples, that's...yeah...
