So Valve is prude as well as greedy?

johnki: I feel this is relevant...

Side-note...wow, that armor is SUPER effective.
And there's even this screenshot of an orgy scene from the game: http://gamersgate.http.internapcdn.net/gamersgate/screenshots_img/DD-AGEB/362907_age_of_barbarian_new_04_medium.jpg

Uh, maybe it's not an orgy...

HeDanny: This is not an example of why games should not have sexual content. This is an example of a game with terrible sexual content.
Well... Yes, that's what I said.

That orgy looks like it ended pretty badly...

Hmm, maybe Seduce Me has male nudity? That's something what freaks out even a majority of Europe (absurdly, again).
It has male nudity, yes.

But how come male nudity is even a bigger taboo than female nudity? It's only a "piece of flesh" :)

Antimateria: No wait.. My favorite has to be in Dragon age: origins, of course with Morrigan.
Bah, Isabella in DA2 was better.
I loved that pirate lady. One of the few characters in the game who didn't annoy me ^^

Because a lot of men are insecure about their sexuality and don't like male nudity, so they will be very vocal about their dislike for male nudity.

Antimateria: So what game has the best sex scene or most comical?

In my opinion I guess it's in The Witcher 2, even though it's a bit forced.

Skyrim could have used some romance. 300 hours and I'm married, it's allowed. =P
It was just, now you are married. That's it.
That game is bit poor in that sense.
The best handled sex scene(s) by far can be found in Fahrenheit (or Indigo Prophecy). They don't exist to titillate but happen organically within the story (or in one case not at all, depending on your ingame choices) and reaffirm/reflect the respective characters' emotional state. They're handled very tastefully with a focus on the interpersonal instead of the mere physical aspects or a sort of "achievement hunt".

That's what we need more of.

What. You actually found the interactive sex scenes of Fahrenheit tasteful?
I think most people found those extremely awkward and juvenile, to say the least. It's pretty much an example of what not to do with sex scenes in games, for me. Give me a decent cinematic like in in Mass Effect over that thing any day.

Let me guess... were they "Press X to bone?"

They were "move the mouse up and down to thrust" actually.

On the other hand the build-up for one of the scenes was quite good (with the ex). But yeah, I sorta agree that it could have been done a bit better. But it is an old-ish game.

Yeah, I agree. Despite that "move your mouse to fuck", romantic relations between adults are one of the most mature ones I've seen in video games.

The build -up for the first scene was good, I guess, although gameplay-wise, it was a "succeed at these minigames to access the sex scene" which feels a bit silly.
The second sex scene, however, like just about everything else in the second half of the game, made no sense and seemed to exist pretty much only as an excuse to show the main female character naked.

scampywiak: So Valve is prude as well as greedy?
They all are. I still don't understand why it's okay to sell M-rated games that has violence, dismemberment and gore, but it's an absolute no-no to sell games that shows sex. What the hell, really?
