Have you looked at the pricelist over at epicclassics.com? They're still charging full price for their games, and they're not even officially affiliated with Epic Games! I mean, even the folks at 3dRealms.com have reduced all their old games to a flat rate of $5.99.

These are retail copies, not digital downloads (as at 3D Realms' site and everywhere else).
Also, the list and their prices have been exactly the same since 2004. You can see for yourself:
Castle of the Winds: Windows fantasy role playing game. $25.00
Was released FREE by the creator (both parts) , brilliant game by the way, if anyone hasnt played it you can find it legally free online.

Balls of steel and shadow warrior are both tagged $10. :(
I wish I could buy all the Apogee and 3D Realms titles from GOG, all of 'em.

Got the link for it?
Please post it in this thread, so more people can play it. ;)

You know what? If they are original, legit copies I would be willing to pay the overprice. Digital is good, retail and giant boxes are best :-D

I doubt it. It's probably just the original files on a generic CD in a sleeve, maybe with some custom artwork on the sleeve.
Is it just lazyness that hold companies like Epic from throwing themselves all over a place like GoG, or something else? I've always been rather perplexed at the fact that most Apogee titles aren't already here for example, all while Apogee are still trying to sell them via their old and amateurish webpages that nobody ever visits any more. I myself never knew about epicclassics until today, and I certainly won't purchase anything there.
That has to be the dodgiest looking site I've seen since Geocities closed down.

One Must Fall 2097 is freeware as well. But some people might like the manual + strategy guide.

It's as if the mid nineties called and asked for their website back.
No way I'd buy games from this epicclassics site.
At least the 3d realms digital store is recent, it opened just a bit before or after the company closing. But you have to backup your downloaded games, not much guarantees I guess.

Thanks.
Ever since we saw the release of the unreal series on gog a few months back I've been hoping that these old classics would trickle in as well... Unfortunately that never happened. I would love to pick up the dare to dream trilogy or even jazz jackrabbit and such from GoG. Ah well, maybe sometime in the future...
I myself was hoping for Jill of the Jungle and Xargon
