They don't care about those titles, and they don't want you to care or know about them either. It's like some movie star not wanting you to buy old copies of his early crap movies, only tickets to see his latest big flick instead. Besides, in the case of Epic, anything less than the 1+ billion sales from the Gears Of War games is nothing to them.

Agreed. Now Epic Games is all about Gears, they said even the mighty Unreal T. will be put on rest for some years, after the UT3 commercial flop.
They don't seem to bother much about their older titles, as they will focus on Gears 3 and other Gears' spin-off games.
Plus that serious sam-like shooter game, by the other studio. (This one looks interesting IMO, much more than Epic's recent games).

Sorry I never came back, but it looks like someone already posted Castle of the Winds.
It is an amazing game, truely the best rougelike I have ever played. It has the graphics and user interface that I wish all rougelike games had. I installed Windows 98 on virtual machine just to play it again.

I still have the first part of Jill of the Jungle on 3-1/2 floppy(incidentally, it's mislabelled as Ken's Labyrinth, due to production error I guess) although I don't have a disc drive with which to be able to play it as such off of said copy....

I really felt something was physically removed, like one would remove a vital organ, in between UT2004 and UT3. I mean, the story-driven single-player mode is great and all, but there had to be some way they could have kept the "Hire/Fire Teammates" function. And speaking of the story, the ending was incomplete. Like, not even a cliffhanger. It felt like it was hacked out at the end of a deadline or something.

Quality? PC games? Epic doesn't understand either of these terms any more. ;)
Why work hard on each release when mediocre yearly instalments recycling the same engine and assets will make just as much money? While we're at it, why give those selfish PC gamers a special version of the game customised just for them? Expect to see dedicated servers removed from Unreal Tournament 4 in the name of balance or piracy prevention (whichever one is flavour of the month at the time). Be glad you still have mouse support, whiners!

Duke 3D had mouse support. So did Wolf 3D for that matter (if only you could disable the vertical axis...).
