Nearly all new releases are these types of games which I really don't like. How about more racing games and shooters.
Others are going to be more descriptive and eloquent than I but: GOG can only release what they have licensed and prepared.
Demand for Genre-A may effect what they do release to a small degree however, but you're better starting a post about a specific genre or game than asking directly for it. (Since you will just get directed to the Wishlist and FAQ)
And I want more strategy games and RPG games. What must I do? LOL, thread.
Well I don't like racing games, so there.

+1 for not liking racing games.
make that +2
That said I want to see every decent game on GOG and so any release is good news. Every release strengthens GOG and increases the chances of them getting Planescape Torment and the Lucasarts catalogue
I think the OP makes a fair point. I know how GOG works, but if at all possible they should try to deliver a varied output of new releases in different genres (in order to please more than just one group of people), and lately there's been very little but strategy here.
Edit: Of the last 10 releases, 8 have been strategy games. It is no wonder fans of other genres have been feeling neglected lately.

Possibly because Rebellion has mostly developed RTS games.

Nope, they've mostly developed action games. Rebellion has just purchased the rights to these strategy games.

Welcome to GOG. And I mean that with all the sarcasm that can be engendered by titling one's first post with the word "enough."
I'm tired of all the RTS games, too, and in fact there hasn't been a new release I've had any real interest in since the Apogee catalogue came out, but they put out what they can when they can. It's a lot better than stagnation.

Meh. I don't like RTS too, but I still have many unfinished games in my backlog... no big deal for me.
The last shooter they announced was Judge Dredd and people were all meh about it. Maybe there just aren't enough good old shooters developers are willing to license. GOG can control what they release from the games they've been licensed, but if most turn out to be RTS's there's not much they can do about it.

Rebellion developed Aliens VS Predator 1, didn't they?
And to that I say, "yes please!"
