I also love reading. When I had more time, I used to try and finish a book every 2-3 days. This was certainly very fun and allowed me to go through a large range of books in a short time, but naturally was not so good for school or work.

Now I try to get through a book every week or so. Recently, I've been reading a lot of Isaac Asimov, who I'm really into at the moment! Currently - The Caves of Steel which is a really good standalone title! It's nice to read some Asimov not directly relating to the Foundation series.
Also, some of Asimov's non-fiction is pretty fun, if a little dated.

There is a book for that movie and it even continues further explaining the monoliths as the titles go to "2010: Odyssey Two", "2064: Odyssey Three", and finally "3001: The Final Odyssey". I highly recommend the series and bet you would fall in love with them!. +1 And thanks for the opportunity!

A giant thank you to trentonlf !!! I was and am literally too broke to take advantage of the sale, and I was crestfallen when I saw the Spiderweb bundle on sale and I couldn't afford it. So thanks to trentonlf...and to all the members of this community who do so much to improve the lives of folks who are a bit down on their luck (and of course the ones who aren't as well:) ). It's really easy to get cynical and jaded about people...hell the world in general. The generosity (and the general "radness" ) of this community quite literally restores my faith in humanity. Heh...I suppose I should stop now before I make a bigger fool of myself then I already have. :)
