StingingVelvet: I'm reaching, but my issue here is that if the underworld clue came out first I would have been sold on EA being the publisher. It's only because Outlaws came first that I was sold on Lucasarts. Both of those are very compelling clues. Yes, Grim Fandango can be used for Underworld, but just barely.
I said in the other thread it's possible it could be Lucasarts and EA and I still think that's possible. The biggest hint it's a multi-publisher deal is the press conference. Activision were a pretty big deal but it didn't warrant a press conference. Neither did Baldur's Gate really, that was just the sweetner to move us out of Beta. It could be that GOG are ready to make thier biggest announcement yet.

They DID say that they signed two publishers. From the e-mail, "we’ll also be revealing the publisher behind the newest wave of games on GOG, and maybe even dropping hints on who the next big publisher we sign will be."

It's very possible EA and LucasArts both come.
LucasArts or EA, any of them is a win for us.
Hoping for EA...
I'd love to have the Underworlds, MD, and SE to complete my Ultima collection.

I wouldn't mind if it were Lucas Arts though as there's a lot of good games there too.

I think the press release is mainly for the Witcher 2. Someone from the team posted somewhere the first hour is alone for the witcher, after that starting gog will be involved.

Edit: Ahhh, I can't find this post anymore. So better forget it (especially about the starting times).

Edit2: I'm stupid. Everything is explained in the official thread: So, first the Witcher, then GOG. Removed the starting times from my post.

Evidence piling on the the EA camp it seems.
I'm gonna keep thinking it is LucasArts. That way I'll be pleasantly surprised if EA shows up.

And a bit disappointed that I won't get Grim Fandango.
Afterlife and were back to lucasarts :p yeah, its a long shot
Monster fears you? You can slap your creature in Black And White.

In Soviet Russia, Monster fears you!
EA made us ride with the outlaws in Road Rash. I don't know why but that came to mind before any western-themed game (and I haven't played RR more than twice).

Yeah, I think obvious Ultima and obvious Dungeon Kepper trump obvious Outlaws. Even though they're all obvious.

One is wrong... or maybe not... OMG.
The font screams Diablo. No other game I know of made such heavy use of a very similarly looking typeface.

I really cannot imagine Blizzard coming to GOG, they're not even on Steam. It fits Dungeon Keeper just as well too.
