What do you think Earth will be like in the year 2090?
This is the year Steam will shut down and we all will be very sorry that we bought games there.
Like the Fallout series

I didn't know this is secretly a community of vampires...

I don't have a lot of faith in humanity so I agree with you.

The Jetsons.
All games will be lasting for 20 minutes and one button does everything feature will be well established.

SimonG: "Man, this is the golden age of gaming. I don't have time for learning how to walk, shoot or anything in a game. And also I rather have 20 minutes of fun than 2 hours of boredom like in Call of Duty 15. Also, my Steam is buying the games for me, so I don't have to bother which games should I like. Isn't that brilliant?"

:P

In the year 2090, an RPG is a game that lasts 30 minutes and lets you choose which weapons your character will use. :P

Lol, Nah, that will be much sooner than 2090. Cheers! Besides I will be long dead well before that date.

Considering that my current most played game is Victory II, this is indeed funny.

And you were fine with manual reading?!
Evil robots everywhere, with but a single family of humans (a huge one, mind you, but still a single one) still alive, that escaped the robots in 84.

You don't need manuals for the Paradox games, they are logically structured. After my usual playthrough of Sweden (which is the tutorial nation of just about any Paradox game) there weren't any real issues left. Vicky II is way more accessible than its predecessor and yet they increased complexity.

True enough, but still, figuring out the whole game on your own takes months. I could've tried basic tactics via trial and error basis in Hearts of Iron 2 and 3, but just reading through manual spared me weeks of figuring that out.

Paradox games manuals are the rare example of well written things. There's EVERYTHING in there.

But I'm glad I've found one person on the web that isn't moaning "Vicky 2 is too hard and complex!" , and I'm surprised that person is you :P
