Dzsono: Not a reference to Jagged Alliance 2? Possibly my favourite game of all time :)

Robbeasy: No - A.I.M. Artificial Intelligence Machines. Game published by 1C, by little known Russian studio SkyRiver. Defies genre pigeonholing, you pilot a hover flier, and have to trade / run errands on various planets, all while trying to stay alive against various different factions and uncover the reason for existence. Working economy system, RPG elements in upgrading your ship, and a setting that is completely unique.

Excellent graphics, superb atmosphere. Slightly ropy translation difficulties from Russian to English, but nothing showstopping. I love it...
Is A.I.M. 2 any good? Just saw that it is 90% off on GMG at the moment :)
0.75$ with code: GMG25-UAAHK-6AI9S
still 19.99 on Gamersgate

AIM2 is a different beast - I cant get into it because of even more translation difficulties - I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing in the game!! It does move the concept on though - something to do with creating your own clan this time. I wish I had a russian speaking friend who would talk me through what I'm supposed to be doing in the game.....;)

Yeah - 1c could do a lot worse than bring it to GOG - but then 1c have a massive catalogue....

Well the thread was only posted 7 hours ago so I guess that must just have been towards the end of the free period.

I stopped following that, I don't want games from other people when I already have so many. I'll still happily take free games from stores though. >.>

Well, I don't followed that thread too (I checked the Anasto drama, though) and I accidentally ended there yesterday and wasn't even aware I was there. Later, when I opened the Gaming deals thread I was really confused why there isn't my post and post about Earth there so I had to check all recent threads one by one until I found it's was NInja thread.
What about the game itself? Is the the units are well balanced? How about the CPU AI? Does it cheat like many other RTS game out there?
