Not to mention Alice: Madness Returns, The Sims 3, Fancy Pants Adventures, and plenty of other kickass titles that come from EA.

Seeing the EA logo on the box is among one of the best assurances that the product inside will be a quality game. The only company that takes first place in that little competition is Valve.

Best game in that list and probably the least known. Shame it was the developers last before being eaten by EA Bioware.

I just started playing Alice 2 tonight since I finished Duke. Marvelously pretty and the kind of game we don't get often on the PC. Really enjoying it.

Not sure about EA always meaning quality, but I do have to say their output lately has been really great compared to most other publishers. I think the hate from PC gamers stems back to them closing Origin and Westwood and such, but honestly those studios were not making good games anymore, that's just the honest truth of it.

Mass Effect abused repeated environments, too.

It was a different age. When you could get away with it, so long as you moved the furniture around. Then in Dragon Age 2, they only moved the doors.

Da:origins will be one of my most likeble games. DA2.. well, it sucked hard. It wasn't totally bad but compared to anything, even to gameboys tetris, it was disappointment. And storywise I remember that it did not do anything. there was a town which was most blocky and in ten years nothing changed.

To be fair on a few occasions they have said they will redesign the character progression mechanics to something in between ME1 and ME2, which is an improvement if unsubstantial one.

And bioware has made such a good games. I loved those star wars rpg:s and mass effect is great. And my female shepard (I like the voice actor).. when mass 3 ends.. Well, better to be dead.. again than have a happy ending. I think, that series is so much storytelling so it could be metal gear. "I have a month to live at most, so better to see sun going down".
It would so suck ass if my redheaded shepard would just seize to exist. That man dudes voice, it's not all bad.. starting to play with ME1, so I got atleast two different saves.
And garrus is awesome. "can this wait, I'm calibrating defenses or something"

I don't hate EA, I'm not into a lot of their games but like any publisher, some good some not so much .... really looking forward to playing Alice as well as a few have mentioned.

It was (almost) confirmed that you'll be able to continue the game after main plot ends. Which means there will be at least possibility for Shepard to survive.

Although no one says s/he cannot go down in the blaze of glory as well ;)

I never liked Dragon Age the whole game seemed like a mass of wasted opportunities where better RPGs had gome before. I am a big Mass Effect fan though so alot of the problems I was able to overlook. I think the problem comes from always trying to up the graphics rather than taking lessons from their back catalogue in terms of gameplay. As an old RPG +1 veteran I always wonder if Baldur's Gate with the Dragon Age engine would be a good game.

I avoid Ubisoft like I avoid DLC.

Both mass effects were good and everybody hopes that trilogy comes to an proper ending. Or perhaps multiple endings if you have played the rest. But my opinion is, better make one good one (ending) than 10 slightly different. mediocres.

And garrus will be cool even when mako explodes.

But bear in mind, what constitutes a 'good ending' varies from player to player. Better to leave several options, IMHO.
