EA has released a game to de-authorize installed games which require online authorization like Red Alert 3 and Spore.
They have a tool for all games and 1 for specific games released after May 2008.
From what I've read on another website from someone who tested this is that the games don't need to be installed in order to de-authorize.
The tools don't remove the SecuROM DRM.
