Who cares? Every penny going to charity instead of the govt. is a penny well spent.
timppu: Ps. I am already paying very high income taxes here, large portion of which is going to helping the needy people all over the world, like in southern Europe. No need for me to add extra charity on top of that through my game purchases. So, in your country there are no people who need help, because govt. is so awesome? There are no homeless, for example?
That kind of thinking is horrible... You shouldn't think the govt. will do everything for you.
I wish all over the world the taxes were lower and the neighbour would start to care about his neighbour more, instead of "govt. will take care of this" thinking.
Although I must say, the system in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway seems to work much better than the shit we have here in Poland. People ther eare usually wealthier and happier than here, but we don't have oil and gas.

I think there are some drunkards who choose to live in some hut in a woods, but I think that is more of their own choosing, rather than the government not providing them a roof on top of their heads.
The only street beggars etc. you see here are the gypsies coming here every summer from the southern Europe, along with their wealthy masters who have golden necklaces and such..
But just so that I don't talk out of my ass, here's some data (ie. there are indeed people who are considered homeless in one way or another, and this page mentions some government programs for them and such):

So how long since you went off the deep end of derp?

No sorry , coming from EA , they have motive behind this , even if i approve all money whcih can be raise for charity.
Knowing EA, i just feel , something is wrong....twisted
there is a theory that there is no true altruism in this world, that no matter what, in the end it springs out from some perceived personal benefit.
EA is no better or worse than anyone else doing a bit of charity.
