I think there were many great games on display today especially The Witcher 3 gameplay footage was really awesome. No Man's Sky just looks better and better every time I see it, and I just hope Hello Games are able to finish this game sometime in the next couple of years. Assassin's Creed Unity looks intriguing because of the time period its set in and I also liked the changes they have made in traversal with parkour being more like the modern version we see a lot of free runners doing. It is incredible to see how far the franchise has come since the very first Assassin's Creed. Far Cry 4 from the initial trailers and gameplay looks to be as spectacular as Far Cry 3. The setting they have chosen this time actually allows me to understand the foreign language used in the game.

But, the gameplay footage I was most looking forward to was for Batman Arkham Knight and it did not disappoint. I was grinning from ear to ear during the demo because this game is everything you could ever want as it is essentially getting the complete experience of being Batman. The story for this last game of the trilogy also looks really interesting especially because of what Scarecrow said at the end. Also this is possibly the best version of Scarecrow ever in any medium be it comics, movies or games IMO. XD

Pheace: Still trying to understand the Rainbow Six Siege mechanics ... you're not telling me you can freely shoot the hostage, and put the people trying to save her in a bad position at the same time, with no penalty? You'd think they'd lose if the hostage dies because they shot them.
Both sides want to keep hostages alive; according to the Ubisoft blog "the team that is responsible for his death will ultimately lose that round".

So basically that part of the video was bollocks and in a normal game they'd just have let her die.
A bit disappointed that there was nothing mindblowing for either the Xbox One (even though I don't have one) or for the PS4. There seems to be a lot of remakes and rereleases there. The only "rerelease" that interests me in the slightest is GTA 5, and that's only because I waited to see how the PC version was looking (although I won't be buying the PC version now anyway).

Still, No Man's Sky looks highly interesting, but as it's highly likely to be download-only, it's a bit off my radar to be honest.

I do have an odd feeling that Nintendo is going to have a few decent exclusives to reveal though. Seeing as none of the established publishers seem to want to work on the Wii U, they've basically handed Nintendo carte blanche to monopolise on the recent upsurge in the console's popularity.

There must be some bonus/penalty to discourage doing just that, but that would also mean that there is no reason for the other side to keep firing during a dynamic revival moment as shown in this video; if the bleed-out time is too short for a wounded hostage to survive a short shootout both sides might opt to stop fighting altogether until someone has successfully revived the hostage.
I'm disappointed.
I was hoping for a GAMEPLAY trailer of MGS5, and nothing (and no release date yet).

Good for FromSoftware, the new game seems interesting.

Uncharted 4 a simple teaser, Drake seems older, and this is interesting, but again, no gameplay.

Grim Fandango will come on PC too, I'm sure, so now I only hope they'll include the original as well into their new remake.

The total silence over a possible PC version of GTA V is kind of curious, to be honest. The game will be 1 year old pretty soon and still no word on it. Even the PS4 is getting a remake. Well, i would never ever buy a GTA game on the PC again after the mess that was GTA IV with its shitty optimization and triple DRM, but it's still curious nonetheless.

I really hope they get at least a new Zelda on there.

They just announced the PC (and Xbox One) versions of GTA V today right after the PS4 reveal at Sony's show (see the Rockstar Newswire page).

GTA V has a PC-only feature ("a video editor designed for advanced movie-making") so maybe they are putting more effort into their PC versions. Max Payne 3's PC version was apparently much better than GTA IV's.

I'm interested in what kind of DRM GTA V will be using. I don't have very high hopes, but DRM-free would be amazing. But I guess it's gonna be Steam + Rockstar Social Club.

No doubt.

Also, this game is pretty cool. I think it's going to the sexier Dark Souls (with better storytelling, afaik).

No idea how the DRM on GTA5 will look, but I doubt it'll be the mess that GTA4 was (although there was actually one layer of DRM - SecuROM. Social Club was just dreadful but not DRM by any stretch, and the game's GFWL implementation didn't use GFWL's DRM).

I suspect that the Steam and other download versions will use Steam with Steamworks achievements, retail will probably use R*'s own variant of Social Club/SolidShield (à la Max Payne 3 and LA Noire). Both will likely use R*'s own social club infrastructure for multiplayer.

I think that's pretty much guaranteed at this point. I'm not sure what the situation is with the various leaks (the supposed "Shard of Nightmare" leak has already been proven false as the 'announced' Sony and Microsoft pressers proved to be way off the mark). Another one - "The Unbound King" - is doing the rounds right now, but the photographed sheet looks about as fake as they come.

But Ninty have been dropping so many Zelda hints that it's a certainty, and it's unlikely that we'll be seeing yet another Mario game after three such high profile ones these past two years (NSMBU, 3D World, Mario Kart 8). I doubt Nintendo would be stupid enough to not have at least one high-profile announcement to make at E3.

If not Zelda, then certainly Star Fox or Metroid.

Pheace: 1 hour till the Nintendo Conference
Gah! I know!

As jamyskis said, a new Zelda game does seem like a given. I'm really curious, however, if they are going to give any details regarding Monolith Software's "X". Also very anxious to know what the other "unannounced title" games are going to be.

I REALLY hope that one of them is Dragon Quest X for WiiU. Square Enix has been frightening silent on the international plans for this game, so maybe Nintendo will take up the publishing costs in their stead? Fingers crossed!
