Luisfius: Apparently the dude that made it worked on Jazz Jackrabbit 2. That is interesting and explains why it looks that way.

The animation is great but the character designs seem a bit too much generic deviantart furry. Still, will probably get it when it is dicounted, hah.
Dean "Noogy" Dodrill, character artist/cutscene animator for JJ2 yes.

That "deviantart" feeling goes away after you've played it, the cast is instantly likeable and dialogue and voice acting is as professional as it gets.

ReynardFox: For pledging to buy a stack of copies of this game for people if it comes to GOG on the YouTube trailer, I get a comment back, and I quote:

"More like you'll GIVE IT to everyone you know. Thief. Stop being cheap."

Jesus Wept. -.-
Um, wow, that's a pretty tall accusation! Are there quite a few people with this stigma against GOG?

I don't think it's a stigma against GOG per say, more like a general reactionary hate from brainwashed Steam users who won't hear a word against it and feel it necessary to white knight the service.

hey! i'm a steam user but not all of them are like that
many people i know just use steam because it is more practical than retail
but i prefer GOG, but many games are not here

and yes i will (probably) wait until it is here before i buy it

"Practical?"

Anyway, I think Reynard was talking about the extremist elements of the Hammer Legion - the very loud, very present members of various forums who think downvoting criticism of Steam and Valve is a civic duty and anyone who dislikes Steam must be a pirate - not Steam users in general.

practical as in easy to redownload if you change systems, and like with GOG, i have had little trouble running games via steam, while others...not as often

and i'm going to admit it, i am a fan of valve (redirecting energy from weapons and engines to flame-shield) but this does not mean i hate on everyone who is not. everyone is free to have their own opinions and i prefer gog

Sorry, I never meant all steam users, I just meant there is a contingent of very loud users on Steam (and other services) who act almost cult-like in their support of their platform.

Gonchi: GOG should counter by releasing Dust: A Tale of the Wired West.
I concur!

Don't worry about those provocations, just let the community run its course and thumb down those kinds of comments into oblivion. The best course of action is to not respond or give them any kind of attention, just carry on as if they don't exist.
Voted on the GOG wishlist. Whatever platform the game comes out on, I am looking forward to playing it. :)

Seems unlikely, but unlikelier things have happened. Here's the wishlist.

And to keep it on topic, here's the other Dust's entry in the wishlist.

Well I posted my query on Dodrill's twitter account, no response disappointingly, anyone here who signed the GOG wishlist entry with a twitter account entry aughta give him a polite prod too.
His email is listed in the contact section of his site. Here ya go, for those who are interested.

Steam release is coming May 24th:

Sigh...

With the way Microsoft has given the middle finger to gamers through the Xbox One, I really can't see them ever jumping on the GOG bandwagon anymore...

I'll still buy a ton of copies to share here if it ever happens (20 copies vs none, Steam only is teh smart!), but for now, I give up.
