tfishell: Really! How long have they had them?
Since they started the development of DS3.

Huh, I wonder why they aren't on GOG yet, since Squeenix is here. Perhaps they are looking for compatibility solutions, or are trying to get the rights to the expansions (unless the expansions were developed in-house and not by another company) so they don't have another EA expansions scenario?

DS2's expansion Broken World was distributed by 2K Games, so there may lie the issue.

Oooooh, yeah, that sounds a bit rough. (Take-2/2K have a LOT of great games that deserve a spot here, and hopefully GOG will get them eventually; maybe they are even the one out of the "Big 3".) What about the first Dungeon Siege, though, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeon_Siege:_Legends_of_Aranna? Aside from possible compatibility issues, is there nothing else really holding that back?

(Interestingly, the Dungeon Siege pack is on sale on Steam right now for another 5 hours as part of a Daily Deal. :P. DS is 6.99 on Steam, so presumably GOG would bring game+expansion+soundtrack [apparently Jeremy Soule did the music!] for 9.99 )

Maybe that Mad Doc Software company wants a piece of the cake?

Lol, apparently it's now Rockstar New England: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockstar_New_England
So you could certainly be right if they actually think they have any legal right to expansion monies, but thing is, this is ALSO published by Microsoft, so I assume that it went to Squeenix too.

Ah, well, I enjoy theorizing about why certain games that could be here aren't, but given that there are thousands of votes on the wishlist for this, something must be out of GOG's control currently (or maybe they're in testing right now, lol! Wizardry 8 was going on since March.)

:-P

And Rockstar is owned by Take Two interactive which also owns 2K Games...
