Taleroth: I'm too lazy to hook up my PC to my big screen.

Because it'd require a 10 foot DVI cable and a switch I don't want to buy.
A nice 28" or larger monitor is bigger than a 44" or larger TV because of how close you sit to it. A good office chair can be just as comfortable as a couch. I personally don't feel the need to play my games on my TV in the living room where my wife is trying to watch food network and it's lit up like christmas.

I don't feel like buying a monitor 6" larger, either.

Well there are tons of financial reasons to go console. I would never say otherwise.
Ah, I'm way behind on my Obsidian purchases it seems... I'm interested in this game's story depth: how does it compare to previous Obsidian games? Same Chris Avellone dialogue quality?

The demo has tons of dialogue in it for you to test.

StingingVelvet: Yes, but there are definitely genres that need a controller and to say "KBM or don't release it on PC" just means less games on the PC. Street Fighter, racing games, platformers, etc. I like those games and enjoy playing them on the PC in higher resolutions and such.
Let's not forget the ever loved Tie Fighter, which despite beiing a PC only title, couldn't actually be played at all without a joystick

First, if you actually read the thread, you'd see that it was possible to play it with keyboard&mouse. People here did, anyway.

Second, the joystick is as much a PC controller as the mouse. It's been there longer and it's always been the best option for flight sims, among others. On my first computer (an Atari ST), I had both a mouse and a joystick and about 50% of games were best played with one, the rest with the other. When my brother started playing on an Apple II, though, he only had a joystick, no mouse IIRC. Guess what? It was still a computer, not a console.

Hey guess what, if I play every PC game I own with a pad they're still PC games and I am still a PC gamer!

You hack and slash for loot. Writing is okay but not normal Obsidian quality. Game is short for an RPG, between 10-20 hours. If you're gonna play it then play it with a gamepad unless they patch the controls.

I think that covers it.

they have to stay out of those games, and just stick with final fantasy. The only good game non ff they released was batman lol

havent tried that yet with a gamepad and strange option that a player can jump in and out of your game.
