I never played a game like that and still, I felt warm inside. So freaking good that they're bringing back a classic game style. :)

My god.. I almost didn't know what the hell you were talking about (still don't really)..
But I'm always rooting for a better stonekeep.
BTW.. is that topic really an actual game, sounds weird.. =)

Stonekeep can wipe Dungeon Master's arse! Love DM, fantastic game even now. This title looks interesting. I'll definitely keep tabs on it as it progresses. Thanks for the tip!

And the first gameplay video totally sold it to me. I'm pre-ordering it as soon as possible, because that little 3 minutes video brought me back to the Eye of the Beholder era, only with far better graphics. ^_^

I haven't played proper dungeon crawler in a long time, but

As good as Dungeon Master was in 1988, I was just happy that the 3D dungeon crawlers moved to freeform, smooth moving of Ultima Underworld etc. After that tile-based, semi-realtime action of DM, EOB, Lands of Lore etc. didn't just feel right anymore, and I don't see much of advantage to it anymore.

So at least I'm not looking forward to the game because it is tile-based, but I hope it is a good game in spite of it.
