I hope its not too expensive compared to the original I mainly only want it for that 100 page art book.
A bust of the main character... papercraft... artbook... dice... coin, oh wait I mean poker ships. The stuff available in that seems kinda familiar, I wonder if its DRM free too :D

Looks like a good edition anyway.

*Ahem* That edition won't be DRM free :-/

:( Pity... oh well, i guess its second place on the "Upcoming Special Editions" table.

If they release the one that comes with a stripper, that would be cool. Gotta be a good stripper though, one that looks like Bobbi Star... or IS Bobbi Star :D
Where's the mirror or pinball machine? They should include a self-destruct button that plays a different duke one-liner everytime it's pressed

deelee74: wow.
it's interesting to see that people are excited about this game.
I'm curious to see how well this game sells when it is finally released. Since most gamers are in the 17-34 year range, a good majority of gamers probably didn't grow up with Duke Nukem and therefore don't care a bit about this game. I was in high school when the original Duke 3D came out. I always preferred Doom myself. I thought the way you had to look up and down without mouselook was annoying, and the graphics always gave me a headache. So I am not that interested in this game personally.
But it is looking pretty cool.
I'll probably check it out.

Kabuto: You always preferred Doom yourself which is fine but then state Duke's graphics gave you headaches despite the huge similarities in graphical look (with Duke looking a little better) between Doom and Duke. If anything Doom should have given you more headaches than Duke.
Duke's graphics seem to be drawn differently when everything moves onscreen. I don't know how to explain it, but Dark Forces did the same thing. Whatever the effect was, it always gave me a headache and motion sickness.
$99.99.
Purrrrchased. Or pre-ordered from Amazon anyway. I do hope Norwegian stores will be selling this though, otherwise I'll have to pay a mighty import tax. Hell, I'd still hit it!

GameRager: That's not bad, considering the price CdProjeckt(or their publisher?) wants for the Witcher 2 CE(around 130-140 US dollars, I believe, but cheaper for Polish customers.).
Not too bad indeed. I've seen crappier collector editions for more money.
Ordered mine.

Here's a few interesting links:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/videogames/ref=pd_dp_ts_vg_1 - Currently #6 most sold video game on Amazon.com and it's been for sale only for five hours so far.
http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showpost.php?p=2215819&postcount=892 - Gearbox's AdamF saying it will be more than 2.000 copies.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=25893081&postcount=29 - AdamF "kind of" confirming that it will be 25,000 copies for North America and Europe and Canda will get their own versions.

You can always dream... 2k is not CDP... sadly here you have 99% chances of having Steam.

kalirion: Too bad it doesn't actually include the Balls of Steel pinball game.
As I know there is a fully functional in-game pinball machine. Wouldn't be surprised if it is Balls Of Steel.
In a year or so, that limited edition will probably sell for $40 or less like several collector editions have like Halo 3 and Bioshock 2

FUCKING PRE-ORDERED!

Amazon has it for $89.99 by the way.

Yeah, but then some are very hard to find and very expensive. Depends.

Yeah, or it could sell expensively like hotcakes like the Mass Effect Collectors editions.
