Master911: This and Metro 2033 which i picked up somewhere for $9 (which i am still yet to install) are actually the first games i will actually own that require steam, i even rejected Half life 2 Collectors edition when it was new because i was not interested in it and not wanting to install steam on my computer.

GameRager: HL2 is pretty good with Steam, all things considered....well, minus the fact that we still don't have a part 3.
I knew someone who had it, played it through on their computer not so long ago, though i have no opinion on the Episodes

So anyway i am now a reluctant owner of a steam account may as well go add it to the Witcher/Portal 2 Competition Maybe i will be lucky

Well here's a little insight: Episode Two is MUCH better than Episode 1. Thankfully the two most annoying things about episode 1 were nowhere to be found in episode 2.

Well, StingingVelvet or whoever was right. Amazon did get fresh stock and I jumped right on it. 99c Release Date Shipping beats crappy Multiplayer Only Exclusive DLC from GameStop anyday. That and the fact that Gamestop gets to charge me sales tax just because they have a physical store in my area, nor do they even offer any "Free Shipping on orders over $X".

It's June 14th now. Month and a half to go!

It's for the better really, May was already packed to the brim with games. The Witcher 2 alone will take up the entire second half of the month for me.

Speaking of which, The Collector's Edition of TW2 has a comparable amount of extra stuff as the Balls of Steel edition of DNF. So why is TW2 Collector's $130 and DNF BoS (PC) $90?

Odd thing about that. I know it's been delayed, and Amazon even changed the release date on the store page for the Balls of Steel Edition. But my pre-order still says it'll be delivered/shipped on May 3, so I'm kinda just waiting for the email saying it'll be delayed and have the June release date tacked onto it.

Just got off the phone with an Amazon operator. There's a significant amount of lag, apparently, in the way that their pre-order records organizing system is updating the "Delivery Estimate" of everyone (thousands, she said) who pre-ordered the game, and send the requisite emails denoting the fact (the ones that say "Oops! Your shit's gonna be late"). You should get that email soon, or at least see the change reflected on your account page.

In most places, the PC special editions are sold out while the console ones haven't been. Either they made way more for consoles, or the PC is outselling consoles despite the PC having digital sales.

I still have all the Duke Nukem 3D action figures, MIB. I've got Duke, Octobrain, BattleLord, everything. I bought extras so that I could keep one of each MIB, and play with the others. The BoS edition needs a hat.

I almost forgot about those action figures. I used to see them all over KB Toys and whatnot back in the day, but I never got one :(

That's what the BoS edition needs. Sure a miniature bust of Duke is nice, but a bust doesn't have any points of articulation!
