We tried to help him. We told him to lay off the bitching and the begging. I myself offered a heartfelt "be yourself and relax" speech, and yet he persist.

Do you realize I didn't even know there was a free game thing offered? Do you realize I really don't care? Actually, what is the game? I know they are planning on adding a special 'Sacrifice' option to the deal where GOG gives you a $50 gift certificate so long as you agree to add the game to your library. Is that what he's talking about?

GOG is an open community; if you want to be a whiny greedy little shit go ahead, but at least have the common courtesy not to soil our beloved forum with your temper tantrums. We'd rather you soil it with mouse necro and anti-flouride rants.
I'll lay off the rants and bitching. I won't post any more. I promise.

@cyberchief.979: sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting to your free game. For me it was just instantly added to my library as soon as I clicked that free-stuff box on the front page. (you *have* checked your library, right...?) But it may take longer for some. I dunno. Be patient, not much other advice I can give you!

P.S. And I got the email saying I got it almost immediately.
Same, but that ticker, it seemed intimidating watching it go down by the 10s every few seconds. I felt rushed when I had no reason to because it was well in the 200K range still.

Alien. Old movie but good jump scares if you're into that sort of thing. I watched it due to my fascination with the Alien Isolation let's play I am currently watching. The game almost plays like the that movie only with different scenarios.

adaliabooks: Well considering it had a stock counter you should know whether you got it or not. If you clicked the button but haven't received the email, be patient, their servers are probably being hammered right now with the sale having just started and the free game.

Of course you're probably just scamming for free codes as usual...

Too funny! Me too! I was playing GOG's Alien v Predator. I've seen the Predators, I've seen AvP, but never the Alien movies. And then I picked up a movie called Prometheus on a whim and discovered that it was a prequel to Alien. So I then rented Alien and loved it!

Sadly, my copy I rented chopped about 10 of very important minutes from the film. The main character enters Mother and another dude is there. Cut. Main character is running from alien, dude never shows up again. I clearly missed some seriously important stuff. Even so, great movie!

Well, I'm re-watching Twin Peaks, preparing for 2016 limited series. The show is amazing! And watching it after playing Deadly Premonition earlier this year adds to the fun.
And Gold Box release with extras, Log Lady intros and some behind the scenes is awesome :)

Ah the supposed science officer. There was an interesting reveal, I do recommend watching it somewhere online for the cut stuff. (Not promoting priacy but if I were in your situation with the movie being cutoff, I'd find other venues that offer it online ahem...or rent another copy, the copy I saw came from my local library's DVD collection)
