Let's do the time warp again*!

Welcome to our [url=http://www.gog.com]DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

What happened to the thread listing all of the games from this sale?

Buenro-games: I am wondering if I should wait for the end of the sale. GOG is well known to end the sale with a big fizzle. I just want the chance to buy the Quest series (Police/King/Space).

Will GOG deliver joy to the masses?
Missed the same ones. Noticed the sale around 1990. Missed a few good ones at first. Hopefully they do a half day closing were you can buy all the sale games together or something. Like an all or nothing final sale.

It's still there.
Damn, i've been debating getting Grimrock for a while. Was hoping it'd still be going when I woke up.

Next time.

Also, LOL Octodad.
Is Spelunky worth $3.74?

It is not much money. I bought many games at higher price than this but those are games that I wanted.
I saw Spelunky quickly depleted in Insomnia promotion and now it is in Time machine promotion as best game for 2013.

Problem is I'm not a fan of platformer game. Last time I played platformer game was 15-20 years ago.

PaterAlf: Good morning!

Got up, went to work, just to see that Spelunky (the game I really waited for in this sale) is still discounted. Grabbed a copy immediately and think that the day looks a lot brighter now.

Thank you, GOG! It was quite a fun sale (much better than the Insomnia Sale in autumn).

adambiser: I might have grabbed Jagged Alliance, but it went on sale while I was asleep.

PaterAlf: In case you still want it, check your PM.
Ahh A man who doesn't hesitate lol. I could learn from you :P

I did the same thing. Wish I had gotten it as well. Like you said. Next time maybe :P

I was on Time Machine Sale since Zork, but went to work, and it's bad luck, Amnesia was on sale, the game I really wanted in this sale, it's very sad ((((
Nice sale, it was not as frantic as the Insomnia sale, but it still was a bummer that you could miss some sweet discounts because of work and sleep. I managed to grab two items from my wishlist (Wing Commander 1+2 and King's Quest 1-3), although I missed one I really wanted (Thief 3).

Thanks a lot GOG!

If you aren't a fan of platformers then maybe it isn't for you. However, the original game (Spelunky Classic) is freeware. You can always see if you like that. The game won't be on sale too much longer but it will eventually be on sale again. :)

... is... spelunky... worth... 3.74 measly dollars????

It's one of my most favorite and most played games of 2013 by far. Endless hours of getting killed in stupid ways that I know were my own damn fault, but I really wish I could blame the games for. It did take me some time to get into at first though.
One question: Does it support gamepads other than the 360?

Had a blast! Downloading UnEpic now. Have fun with your games everybody...unless it's in the end of your backlog. Then have fun ever getting to it.
No second chance for Zork..? Damn.

Thanks GOG for this promo anyway.
