Let's do the time warp again*!

Welcome to our [url=http://www.gog.com]DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

PaterAlf: How about a free copy then?

goldragon: Looks like someone was faster than me as it says invalid code :)
But still thanks for trying to help.
Wow, really? That's kind of assholish, whoever did it.
So if we can't officially "gift" games we buy (now own) is it still "legal" to download the game, not use the activation code, give the downloaded game to someone else (e.g. my Nephew), along with the activation code... I can;t see how there would be any technical restrictions from doing so.

undeadcow: The 2010 game is unknown still. I am corrected.
I understood Spelunky would serve as the year 2013. We are on 2009... Unepic is 2011, Legends of Grimrock is 2012, and Spelunky is 2013

donsanderson: OK, where's 2010? :-/
You are right, we don't know what 2010 will be yet. Thanks, +1

Buenro-games: Nooo. We need Divinity: Dragon Commander at 80-90% off for the 2013 game. Or else the sale will be a flop. (*crossing fingers*)
I'm afraid, Spelunky is already confirmed to be part of this sale. ;)

Private message it then. I agree it's kinda assholish, but it can be easily prevented
No Torchlight for me. If I were 12 again, I'd try it out. But my game-playing time is at such a premium nowadays, I have to spend it on games I'm sure I'll enjoy.

Also, these Jack Keane 2 reviews are pure gold. "please just buy it I'm begging you!"

Buy it as a gift to get a code, and send the code to your pesonal e-mail. Then you can give the code to whomever you want or even use yourself. It never expires.

BUT if you don't buy it as a gift from the start, it will be added to your game shelf and you won't get a code for it.

Now that would make sticking with the sale worthwhile to me.

ReynardFox: This sale has been dreadful, and it's made it painfully clear that "After 2005" is no longer good enough for filtering game search results. I have no idea what came out in 2010 and no idea how to check.
The "Price Under $10" is also worthless, since so many games are either $9.99 or $5.99. I'd really like a "Price Under $6" to capture the $5.99 ones better.
Still hesitating on Torchlight as I own the 2nd but not the 1st ..

Wow, a snatch and run? No "thank you" even? I didn't take it, but thanks for sharing PaterAlf!

You on right path, grasshopper. Try not to stray.

Thanks! I was just a little 'keanefused', as usual. :-)

I really enjoyed Torchlight, but it'll definitely be disappointing after Torchlight 2. The sequel was really a complete improvement

If you originally gifted yourself the code, you can look in your account under 'gifts' you can see who exactly redeemed it. Also whoever took it is a dick.
